- CBThese obnoxious idiots call our place of business several times a day with a recording talking about "We're calling about your credit card which is paid off...blah blah blah". Of course there is no credit card. Today, during the call, I *69'd and a real person picked up the phone and said "Are you calling about your rates?" I said "No, I am demanding you stop calling our number." The woman very rudely said "Oh, you're commanding? Let me direct you to our commanding center." Then she hung up on me. So - the trick is to *69 while the recording is playing and then a real person picks up. Do that enough times and they will get tired of it too.

- Wookie| 1 replyI don't answer these calls, no number I don't recognize. If I think it might be someone I know then I Google the number and call back if Google shows a name if know. These days it is best not to answer an out of area call that one doesn't recognize.
- Caller: unknown
- JoeReceived a call. Automated system said choose "8" to be removed from the calling list. I did that, it rang, and a woman answered, asked me if I wished to lower my rates. I told her I wanted to be removed from their calling list. She hung up on me.
I guess being on the DO Not Call list doesn't matter, since the calls are probably computer generated.- Call type: Telemarketer
- Michael C WombleI am on the Do Not Call List, so I want to report them!
- Cathy WilkinsonI am on the Do Not Call registry. Can I file a formal complaint?
- Simpson| 5 repliesThis is a very serious concern. If you receive harassing calls from 702-591-5747 report it to the Do Not Call Registry:

- Robin replies to Simpson| 4 repliesI tried to file a complaint but it said that the number had not been a valid number for more than 31 days. Not sure why that should matter.
- Patty replies to Robini don't know how it could not be a valid number. I just received another call from that number.
- shannon replies to Robinsame problem here
- SusieI received a call from these jerks, and I spoke to a man and asked what credit card was he calling for, and ofcourse he wouldnt answer, and then I told him I wanted to know so I could report him to the Federal Trade Commision, and he laughed saying it would be a waste of my time. I again have registered on the 'Do Not Call' list, and hopefully eventually these calls will stop. I feel sorry for these poor folks that this is the only way they can make money.

- xaviusI went to http://www.fonefinder.net/ and did a look up to find the carrier for this number. It says that it is Nextel. I called the Nextel Customer Support number 800-369-6111when it asked for the phone number of the account I was calling about I entered 702-591-5747 from my caller ID. It told me it was in fact a Boost Mobile number and forwarded me directly to Boost Mobile. They obviously could give me no details on this account which I would never ask for as it belongs to someone else I did however file a complaint that I was receiving calls that start out as an automated message stating that they are "Card Account Services" This is obviously a scam. The guy I talked to was very helpful and said he would put a red flag on this account.
If enough legitimate complaints come in they can suspend this number until the customer calls in.- Caller: Card Account Services
- lamet replies to RobinNO - YOUR OWN phone number must be on the DONOTCALL list for 31 days before YOU can file a complaint. Its takes that long for all the businesses that actually follow the do not call laws to update their lists. this is stated clearly on the Donotcall website!
THE NUMBER YOU ARE REPORTING does not have to be registered at all
A LITTLE COMMON SENSE ABOUT DONOT CALL
Also remember that illegitimate companies and scam artists won't respect these lists. Therefore once your enrollment goes into effect you should be extra careful of unsolicited telemarketing calls unless you know they come from a company with which you have a legitimate, established relationship - Mike in PAGot a call from 702-591-5747 today about reducing my credit card rates. When I asked what card they were calling about she said we can handle any card. I said I wanted to know which card they were talking about and she hung up.
It is crazy that they can't be stopped from calling us and trying to scam us. They should be fined thousands of dollars for each unauthorized call they make. Then they would not make any profit and stop calling and that would end all these idiots from calling us. But until that happens they make more money than they are fined so they don't care.
They use throw away cell phones so they can change them often and keep on doing the same thing.
I am feed up and don't want to take it anymore.- Call type: Telemarketer
- rod in TXThese morons call me about twice a month and I have asked numerous times to be removed. NOTHING HAPPENS. SSDD. Anyway I am going to see what I can do to file a class action lawsuite. I am pissed. i wish I could get a hold of the person responsible.

- Marie replies to WookieMy ID just says it is a cell phone from Nevada. nothing left on answering machine. That ID sure pays for itself. These idiot 800's etc even call after Hurricane Ike, luckily LAN phone ID uses batteries. Only the answer part is electric. Is there an answering machine that works on batteries to use during power outtages? Now that could sell! It is hard to screen for Entergy calls and FEMA between those OTHER calls.
- Cindy702-591-5747 is just another phone scam. Stop picking up and start reporting!

- Richard replies to RobinWhen I wet to the do not call website and made a complaint, it asked if my phone number had been on the do call list for more than 30 days. It had so I was able to make the complaint. I hope it works because I am sick of getting these computer generated calls.
