Google says this number is for Starpoint Resort Group (which, by the way, has a 1 star rating). I ignored the call once, but answered it another time thinking it was a prospective employer. They said I won a vacation package. They had my name and current address. I asked how and the caller asked if I attended an event at a casino about a month ago. I did. They said they have my info from an entry form I filled out, which I did actually do. I was suspicious at first, but then I was just turned off by the whole thing when she mentioned a meeting about TIMESHARES. She asked to talk to my boyfriend about the whole thing. After hanging up, he said the woman was trying to sell stuff. Since then, we've been ignoring their calls. Since Nov. 10th (five days ago), I have 12 missed calls from them. TWELVE. The next time they try calling, I'm going to just tell them we're not interested and to stop being so obnoxious with all the calling. This is ridiculous and they're coming off as really desperate.

Also, I don't know if they operate under any other names, but she said they are Resort Group (someone said on Yelp that she heard bad things about this company and the people who work there). I was even more confused when she mentioned the Jockey Club.

Called my number a few times. I asked about the company name but they did not give it to me. Informed me I had won some kind of vacation package (airline tickets) from filling out a form at a entertainment center I have never been to. When I told them it must have been someone else, they insisted that "I" could take the prize instead. I refused many times, but they were quite insistent. They asked me for my information too. NO THANKS. Beware of suspicious calls such as these!

These people have been calling me for months, I usually ignore it because I know it's a timeshare and I'm not interested. Last night a guy from this number left me a voice mail saying "someone needs to grow a pair and answer". That was the last straw, next time they call me I'll definitely give them a piece of my mind.

Starpoint Resort Group, Inc., owned by a Michael Muldoon, uses this number.  Someone will call to announce that you've "won" a $2,000 vacation.  However, you haven't "won" anything!  You haven't placed your name into a drawing for anything at anytime in the past and they're simply just cold calling you. These people call NON-STOP for months!

I've asked, repeatedly, for them to stop calling.  I've been told "We'll call as much as we want, when we want, and there's nothing you can do about it," by an ass who identified himself as "Niko Morales"   Niko refused to provide me with the name of the company for whom he was calling.  Niko told me that I could complain and no-one would care.  He told me I could sue and "good luck with that," so I've placed them on formal notice now, and I'll now wait to see if they're silly enough to violate the FCC Rules and the TCPA Rules.  IF they are, I'll take further action - - and I suggest all of you do as well!  http://transition.fcc.gov/cgb/policy/TCPA-Rules.pdf

We have received ten phone calls from these guys from Feb 7 to Feb 11.   We hang up on them and then they call back immediately.  On Feb 7th, we asked the caller to take us off their calling list, and they swaid it would take 30 days......WTF? On the 11th, we hung up and they called back three more times.....that's 4 times in 60 secinds.  Each time we hung up the phone.   These guys are examples of why we have lwas in this country to prevent harrassing and unwanted calls.  Unfortunately there is NOTHING anyone can do to stop it.  THe FTC is a joke.   We reported every single call on the FTC website, but we have done this before and the calls from Canadian Pharmacy and jerks like these guys never stop.

Been called a number of times by these people.  Told them I was not interested and to discontinue calling- to no avail.  There is a law regarding 'DO NOT CALL LISTS'  ...It needs to be addressed with these people!

They said I had won stuff and I asked where they got my name. She said they got off the voter's registrar list. Then she said they were a time share thing. I asked her to take my name off their list and she said she would.

They called today. I searched the unrecognized number quickly and found that it was a spam/telemarketer number. I quickly answered the phone with Metropolitan Police Dept Detectives Division and the person on the other side of the line started breathing real heavy and then hung up without saying a word. Works every time.

Just got a call from them where they claimed to be Cox Cable (despite my caller ID revealing otherwise: "Resort Stay Int"), stating that we "won" a "$2,000 vacation" prize of some sort. They tried to squeeze us for info on our ages, social security, and our monthly income, on top of being pretty rude in general.

This is a place that will lie to you and say you won a $2,000 vacation asks if you are over $25 with a live in partner. I said yes cool, then set up an appointment to attend this seminar. I then googled the number to learn what I was getting myself into. I went to the Jocky Club connected to the Cosmopolitan and waited in this room, showed them a copy of our gas bill and showed them my credit card, they did not take any numbers otherwise I'd walk out. So my lady and I were in this lunch room next to the pool, eating hostess snacks listening to this gentleman in his 60's explain to us how he has timeshares everywhere and we can use them by buying into this program, they will ask what you do, how much you spend on vacation. The guy was super nice but noticed his shoes were from payless, his attire did not match all the things he says he owned. I kept quiet, watched a movie about timeshares, toured some model rooms, then back to the crowded cafeteria. He show us it is $25,000 to buy in but will do payments, no credit check. RED FLAG! I told him why I came... for the free stuff and living above one's needs is kind of backwards and don't want to invest in something like this. We waited for a manager, Lady from New York or Staten Island came over told us we are cute looking and she can cut us a deal for dirt cheap, I said no and explained why it is not a good idea for me. She then got very upset, we wasted their time, we should never go to seminars like this, and she would not want her kids to go these things either. She shoed us out quickly and met with 3 other people about the prizes had to rate the company but only asked questions that would make it seem like they are cool. We got a voucher to go on a cruise, plane trip to where ever except HI, or a paid hotel in Hawaii.....BUT there are tons deposits, and fees. We got tickets to crappy shows and they were coupons that you can find on the strip anywhere, in magazines, people passing them out, in your hotel room drawer...buy 2 drinks $20 min to see show. We left exhausted and the prizes were not anything we were promised. We were promised $50 visa card, Vouchers for the airlines, and "no catch." I called the night before to verify the prizes too. I called the company to rant and they said their agents are not supposed to lie. A week later I received another call that I won $2000 in vacation explained what happened again and agent got mad and told me there is nothing for free with out a catch and I should have known better. I did know what I was getting into but thought I'd go anyways to experience it and they were much more ruthless than I imagined.

These people are stalking me! When I called them back and asked to be put on their Do Not Call list, I was hung up on. There is a $10,000 fee to the company if they call you when you are on the DNC, I'll see what happens.

This is maybe the 5th call from them, and the 1st that they actually said something after I answered. It was a lady, said she was with Resort Stay. She said UMMM after every word. Said that they were calling new residents of Las Vegas, ( I have lived here 6 years ! ) and that I have won a chance to be included in a drawing to win $100,000 to take home with me ? Wait, if I'm supposed to be a new resident, why would I be moving again ? I told her no thanks and hung up.

This company is so rude!  I googled the number when I receieved the call because I do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize.....It led me to this post.  After reading everything that has been posted, I decided to call them and ask them to remove me from their calling list.  The gentleman that answered was kind at first but quickly turned RUDE when I asked him to remove my number!  He said he wasn't trying to sell me anything but that I has won a prize!  Really?  I didn't even give him my name or number!  When I mentioned this to him his response was...."It's called caller ID!"
I am definitely filing a report!
