Please report these calls to the FCC...they are solicitors that will NOT stop no matter how many times you tell them to stop and even after reporting, they haven't stopped.  They use different phone numbers all the time.  It's crazy!!!  The FCC should be jailing these people!!!!!

Scumbag tried to ask me to "verify my identity" with the "last *12* digits of my credit card or checking account and routing number.  I asked him questions to verify his identity but could not provide answers to any of my questions.  These guys should be in jail.  They initially called from a different number.  When I hung up they called back using this number.  The original call was from (425) 320-5203.

Don't take any calls from 1-253-236-2035, 702-725-5251, 702-705-5334. They say that they are from Chase & want to lower your APR. They ask for entire acct #/expiration date. Also, if you know your balance. I reported them to FBI at 1-617-742-5533. I hope it works for everyone.

I was told the same thing and they were very persistent using 702-705-5334 and 253-236-2035.  When I told them that I wasn't interested, I would hang up and they kept calling me back.  Also, a female tried to scam me first and when I wouldn't bite, she then put her so-called supervisor on the phone.

I just got a call from 702-705-5334. I know nothing I say about not wanting such calls will make any difference. So I just played along. I acted like the world's biggest dumbass. lots and lots of high-rate credit debt. but unfortunately, we had a, um, bad connection so she had to repeat everything over and over. no matter her question, i had trouble hearing and/or understanding. i mixed up expiration dates with interest rates with account numbers. (none of which were real) i had her so confused, she finally hung up and promised to call back. gonna make that scammy [***] work for her money.

    How it works:

    http://onthespotblog.com/tag/cardholder-services/

We need CRIMINAL penalties against the companies that are profiting from these calls. Follow the money, slap them in jail, no one left to outsource to overseas boiler rooms, problem solved.
Since they are operating across borders it should become a federal felony and should be handled by the FBI under the RICO Act.

These calls are coming from call centers in Costa Rica and India and they are using spoofed (false)
numbers, which in itself is illegal. They do cold calling for or sell the leads to numerous companies in
this country and they know that what they are doing is illegal. Tomorrow this same number may be selling Cruises, Timeshares or Security Systems but if you follow the money it usually ends up in the hands of an American LLC. Keep complaining to the FTC and FCC, and start bugging our politicians to pass laws to make it punishable in criminal court instead of handing out fines that they don't pay. Another course of action is to contact phone companies to find out why they won't block spoofed numbers. With today's technology that should be an easy thing to do, unless they are somehow profiting from the use of their systems.

Robocalls are illegal unless you have given them prior permission in writing (not worded into some small
print contract from a 3rd party) and are absolutely illegal to a cell phone.  The Telephone Consumer
Protection Act permits individuals who have received certain unlawful telemarketing, such as junk faxes
or telemarketing calls, to sue the violator in state courts where they may be awarded up to $1500 for
    each violation.

People should continually file complaints with their Attorney Generals office and also file with:
    http://www.fcc.gov/complaints
    https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov
If enough people keep complaining then maybe something will get done.

The FTC has already taken action against some of them however they just pay a small fine and are back at the same scam the next day:

Received robo call on cell phone about lowering credit card interest.  Told me to call a number to get info.  Did.  Calls directed to India.  Gentleman very insistent about 'confirming' credit card information and account info.  That made me wonder so I researched the number and discovered online that this is a scam.  Would you please, in the interest of keeping your citizens financial health intact, provide a vehicle to punish this type of activity.
