Get Caller ID and screen out calls from names, numbers, places you don't know.  Everyone who answers and/or calls them back just reinforces their behavior.  Call blocking may discourage them for that particular call but they use robo dialers which don't care and they keep calling as long as you encourage them to continue with their game.  Complaints to DO NOT CALL or states attorney generals, even the FCC will not help.  They have so many complaints from so many people about so many numbers, they could not do you any good even if they wanted to.  Worst you can do is respond and vent; then they know they've got a live one and they will continue........That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

I received a phone call from this number regarding a free earthquake package and a $3000.00 discount on food.  After I heard that information I said no thank you, they persisted and I finally hung up.  The called back again and I didn't answer.  I have caller ID and have friends in the Las Vegas area, which I thought might be them.  Please stop calling me.

It was a scam call indicating I received a free medical alert system and $3,000 worth of groceries.  It was voicemail so I deleted.  However, when they call my parents and I answer I hang up immediately. This happened in Illinois and I was told this is happening around the country.  

This is a scam call!!!! They have been calling random people at work claiming to verify a senior citizens medical delivery.  The calls are actually prerecorded, do not press any numbers!!!!!

Cal would not let me get a word in -  promised "coupons" for free food or discounted -- what a SCAM -- HANG UP ON THEM.

Do Not Call is an absolute joke. There are some inexpensive caller ID boxes available that allow you to block entire area codes (like the infamous 206 area code). They are well worth the money until the Fed gets the balls to enforce DNC.

I guess laws against bank robbery are a joke because people still rob banks.

answered. she wanted to schedule delivery of medic alert system. i tried to get her attention to tell her i didn't order it, and she kept talking. obviously, a recording. i hung up.

called wanting to schedule a time for a free medical alert system and $3000.00 of groceries.  Although it sounded real, it was a robotic call.  Do not answer the phone when this number appears

This is the second time they've called and they don't listen when I tell them I want to be taken off their list.  "Betty" kept talking over me going on with her spiel of a free weather alert system.  Scam!

I received a call today I pressed 5 to opt out of the shipment and also called back to be placed on their do not call list. We will see if they honor the request, they said to give it 72 hours

ID reads cell phone NV. The friendly fast speaking female voice identified herself as; 'Betty, with Senior Medical Alert'. Then immediately states; "I'm calling to set up a delivery time for your free safety alert monitor." I just as quickly said; "I doubt it because you have reached the ? county police department, this is detective Jane X speaking." Record disconnect time. LOL.  This is a spam caller.

It was a scam call indicating I received a free medical alert system and $3,000 worth of groceries.  I hung up.  The only reason I answered in the first place is because I was making some configuration changes to my VOIP service when the phone rang.

Why would you answer the same number a second time, when you know from reading the above that it's a total scam.  You really have to question the intelligence of people who do the same thing over and over, get the same negative results, and continue answering obvious scam calls.  You are the reason these scammers do what they do.  If no one answered their calls, they would have no reason to keep calling.
