I work with Turner Construction,we are currently working at a very rural area which makes it very hard for me to make phone calls due to bad network reception here but you can always text me . I will not be able to view it but I have a Mover who will come for the pickup so please get back to me with more pics and also I will be making the payment via PayPal as that is the only payment option I can access from here I hope you understand.I have some questions for you;

Are you the first owner of it?
Where do you live?
What is your final asking price?
Does it have anything negative i should know about?

This is a GROUP of scammers not just one individual! I received the exact same text from 3 different phone numbers just hours apart & an email that was similar from a third person, none of which knew I was "dealing" with the next. The phone numbers I dealt with are from LasVagas area code of 702. They tell you they can't talk but can communicate through text or email. They offer to pay through paypal but want to include a courier fee in your payment.They will send you a fake email from "paypal" saying a credit to your account has been made in the amount you are asking plus the courier fee. They want you to open the fake email, open the fake link & give your information away.

I got the same. He is a scammer! How frustrating!

Received txt message from this number in a response to my sofa posting on craigslist followed by the exact same email others have reported.

Turner Construction is based out Seattle, WA.  Originating ip from email is coming from Mountain View, CA.

This Rick Smith guy keeps telling me that he was going to buy my furniture but when it comes time to pay he disappears and leaves you wondering.  Be very aware of him.

Just received a message from this number.  Again, the "can't receive texts or calls" just use email.  Get back to me with your final asking price, etc. etc.

I got the same message, not available by phone, only by e-mail,  Get back to him with final asking price.  Really?  I don't think so. Like  he is going to come to NJ from Nevada to pick up furniture.

I got the same message, "My name is Rick Smith, not available by phone only can respond by email. States 'Get back to him with the final asking price?" Wow, i am glad I researched before I put to much information out.... AND YEH correct NEV to MD: to pick up a surprise piece of furniture for a friend.....YEH Right....
