Someone called my phone from this number then hang up when I answered. Who is this?

Some one called from this number and when i picked up the phone, i heard the machine voice saying "Good Bye" and then it hung up.

Someone called from this number about an extended warranty. My husband asked on what car and they replied "that shopping cart you drive" and hung up. When I call the number back it says it is disconnected. We are on the Do Not Call list and this is the 3rd time we have had this happen. Is there any way to get it stopped?

They are a scam trying to get people to extend warranties on their cars. It's a company out of Nevada and they are definitely a scam. Do not pick up when you see this number.

who is this caller

This number has called me a half dozen times over the last two weeks, at different times of the day. Until today, I never heard a voice. It always just hung up, or there was a recorded woman's voice which said "bye".

This morning at 9:28, a woman spoke, asked for "Joe"; she was not at all surprised That there was no Joe at this number.

I suspect they are some form of verification service, checking on targeted numbers for reasons not fully known.

Woman called from that number. Knew my name. Asked if it was me. When I asked "Who is calling, please" she told me to go f___ myself. When I called back, the number is "not in service".

Very rude, and they hung up on me.

This number calls me every day around 10:30am.  10s silence, a beep, then a recorded 'good bye.'  Beep makes it sounds like they are recording my voice.  Fun times...

I too recieve calls from this number about every three days. They never leave a message and when I call the number back, it says that it is not in service. I am on the do not call list as well and still recieve these phone calls. I even called information to do a reverse lookup on the number and it says the number is not registered to anyone.  What can I do to stop them from calling?

Oh, one last thing, I called the police department and all they said to do was call the phone com pany and put a block on the number. Good luck everyone!!!!!

That number called me as well, and just like every1 it always hang up on me...... The "that shopping cart you drive" is funny. Lol

They call my Tracfone several times a month.  That means every time I answer (as a prepaid phone customer) I pay for it.  Like others, I get a taped voice that says "goodbye". Definitely a robo-call

So, as consumers one should ask, Qui Bono?  In my case, it is TracFone, a group of Savvy S. Florida business people.  If you think about it, generating demand for your service is the oldest trick in the book.  Its why Lockheed Martin likes to help set US foreign policy in the Middle East and NATO.....

i received a call to today from this number, when i asked who it was they replied " we are the people who are going to stick your car so far up your ass you won't know what happened." to this i replied "please do, ive been waiting for you guys to call me back" [***]

go to http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm. Its a government service to help stop unsolicted phone calls. Bout the only way I can figure to get these guys attention to stop f***ing around with everyone. The more complaints the better I say.

It has to be a telemarketer!  They call my CELL every week.  Sometimes I answer and they hang up!  What's there angle?  Are they calling your home or cell numbers?
