keep getting this number calling me when i answer no one will say anything then today they started whistling on my answering machine

Kept calling me over and over in a row until I got tired of it and answered. Ask about my current surgery and medical issues. Answered questions about 5 min with all no and hasn't called back.

We have requested that the calls stop and they continue to call.

They called ask asked for my husband with his first and last name said something like this is merchants ( I'm thinking Marchand marine jobs he was waiting to hear back from) when I said he wasn't in and to take a message the guy (white male, 30's can tell from his voice he was grown) anywho he said no will call him back alittle later and just hung up after the hang figured don't know real person not leave a name but sure don't like them just calling using people names first and by last

And if that person above is saying they brought up their medical stuff that's kinda serious cause that mean who ever the person or people are, are going into people's personal data file pulling things up on someone's file or hacking either way
who ever it is get a [***] life! plain and simple you really have a boring way of showing you have to much time on your hands

This number continues to call my home landline all day long.  No message is ever left.

I have picked up and pressed ###, *** continuously until they hung up.  I did not voice anything; just started dialing the symbols continuously.  I will not voice an answer ever, but I will continue to pick up and dial symbols whenever they call.

It did not stop them the first time, why do you think it will stop them now?

Probably time to obtain a call blocker device, app, or phone.
Google "call blocker" to see the various types, and find one that best meets your needs.

I have an account on a CPA network with the same area code as this number, but it's not the same number. The only way I'd be able to trust this number would be if someone left me a voicemail and told me they're from the CPA network, but since no one did, I doubt it came from the CPA network.

Just got a call from this number and they would not answer me at all.

Have been receiving multiple calls from many 702 area numbers, however today when I got home it had only been about 20 minutes earlier they called me, so I called the number 702-843-6755 back...

after several rings it clicked and transfered to a "dead-air" connection... I waited a few seconds, no answer so I hung up.

it is obviously some type of war dialer that connects to a live line when you or an answering machine answers the phone...

I have no dealings with anyone in the 702 area code, so i just let them keep calling & talking to my answering machine...
I figure it's keeping someone employed somewhere... likely only routed through the USA from an Island somewhere...

Called twice September 16, 2015 did not answer

This number has called me several times, I never pick up a call from a strange number.

I blocked this caller.  No voicemail, and I don't know anybody in Las Vegas.  I've been blocking a lot of callers the past couple of days.

Called, delay in live person and then asked for someone, told them no one here by that name and requested they put my number on their "do not call" list. We'll see if they comply, if not then I plan to take legal action for phone harassment. As soon as you put one of these number on notice, then they transfer it to another across the U. S.  One of them slipped up and revealed who they were collecting for, so I may just have to go after the hospital involved, since they are agents of the hospital to be named in the harassment suit and can't seem to get it right and remove my number, thus encountering daily multiple harassment by multiple numbers.

It's a bill collector looking for someone who has the same name as I do but lives in a different state.  Collecting for Charlotte NC Hospital.  I have never lived in NC or seen a doctor in NC.  When you block their number they just start calling from a different number.
