Thge Caller I.D. states "Opinion Poll."  The lady said "You served on Jury Duty.  We want to ask you your opinions"!  Why are they polling members of the jury pool?  They are collecting information for a data bank on private citizens.

Called while I was online. Quickly Googled their number and got here - didn't pick up. Thanks for calling my cell phone, jack-as*! I am on the NO CALL list.

I'm on the no call list and shouldn't be receiving these phone calls.

The woman called my office number - she asked if she got a business or a residence.  I said, "You've reached a business" and she said, "Oh" and hung up.  What happened to common courtesy?

Caller Type: Don't know. I put the caller on hold for 15 minutes.  Still connected after 15 minutes so I disconnected.

I didn't get to the call in time. They did not leave a message.

Some jerk called repeatedly and didn't leave a message. Our number is on the state's "no call"list anyway

A woman called my cell asking for me by my first and last name.  She heard a lot of background noise (as I was at a jamba juice) then asked if she had called my cell.  I said yes and asked who she was, she then hung up!!! Who does that??... It creeped me out.  So I called back the number and it said it was a number that was no longer in use.

Woman called at 6:57pm and asked for me by name. I asked who was calling and she gave me a name and said she was calling for a Survey. Told her person she asked for is unavailable. She hung up.

I got a missed call from this number on Sunday and then another call just now.  This time I answered, a man asked if this was Lisa and then just hung up as soon as I said yes.  I tried to call back and got a message that the number is no longer in service.  Frustrating!! i'm on the DNC list too...

got a called, asked for my name, asked to confirm my mailing address.  Proceeded to say my old address, so I said it was wrong.  Hung up.

On Tuesday June 24th at 8:30pm I received a call from (??) Marketing Group (caller ID 702-932-3401/Opinion Poll) and asked if I would take part in a political poll.  Based off of two questions and what I got back from the pollster, it was obvious (in my opinion) this company was hired by Washington State Democratic Party.  The poll started out with standard questions and revolved primarily around Olympia and our Governor (nothing regarding national politics).

I wanted to point out two of the questions that lead to my cutting off the pollster and stopping the poll.  Keep in mind polls are always multiple choice to stay on topic!


QUESTION #1

Pollster:  Do you agree with SAME SEX marriage or Civil Unions?

Me: The least of the two!

Pollster:   So do you mean NO?

Me: I was not given no as a choice, can I answer NO?

Pollster:    YES, our employer does not want us to offer that choice, but if you say no we can put that down!


QUESTION #2

Pollster:  In November will be voting for the MODERATE DEMOCRAT or the CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN?

ME:  Is there a choice you were told not to give….. Moderate Republican or Liberal Democrat?

Pollster:  NO.

ME:  I prefer not to answer that and we are done with this poll since it is obvious you company was hired by a political party to conduct this poll with an agenda in mind.

Pollster:  “slight giggle” … OK sir, I understand and thank you for you time.

Called during the dinner hour.

caller asked for me by name.  Then asked if I was still at my address!  (He knew my address!!!)  I asked who he was and he laughed, then said he was doing a survey about bridge toll increases.  I hung up.  It creeped me out!
