Only the tail end of the message was left, leading me to think that they hoped to fool me into calling back by not identifying themselves. I was tempted to call them to yell at them, but decided to report them on the web instead. I am on the Do Not Call List.

Got a message from a mortgage telemarketer. Asked me to call back at 800-599-5864.

Got a partial automated message on my voicemail, allegedly from a Jeffrey Klein, requesting I call him at 800-606-1485. Claimed it was urgent regarding all of my credit cards. I'm pretty sure that if it were a major concern, it would have been a live person leaving the message and I'd be able to find some information on the numbers. Hopefully, it's a one-time call.

I also just got a message from Jeffrey Klein as well regarding my credit cards.  Said he was from the Intercounty Consumer Debt Research Department and that I needed to call him back regarding all of my credit cards at 1-800-606-1485.  No results for this number on Google.  Another web site says this number is available. No plans to call him back

My wife received a call from Jeffrey Klein regarding all of her credit cards. He called on her "work" phone.

I rec'd a call from this number also regarding my credit cards and the funny part is I dont even have a single credit card!!!!

I have received at least 3 calls from this number, but it's in reference to "properties in my area that i may qualify for a mortgage loan" or something like that.. I get this same phone call from quite a few different numbers, it is driving me crazy cause it's on my cell phone!!

I picked up, and all I could hear was beeps and silence, and no one answered me... I was tempted to call back, but TGF the internet!! Just googled this number and BANG!  

PS: I hate telemarketers... And I think it should be banned!! If people truly want something, they can go and get it !!

Unfortanately If you're reading this you've already got this call.  How do they get there numbers so quick, I've had this number for two days and got this call.  I think "Sprein" sold my number.  I was with US Cellular for three years and my number was on my business and cards and everywhere else, never got any spam calls.  Next thing you know they'll be giving stock picks like they do on email.

I received a similar call -- just the tail end of a message -- on my office phone at 7:02 pm 3/09/07.  Rather than call back, I did a Google search.  Glad I did.

The call for a man name Richard Wolf who apparently had the phone number before me. My parents, who i set up this phone for, get at least 2 calls a day at all times of the day and night for him and its really getting annoying for them as seniors.

Also received only the tail end of the message saying that it is imperative I call Jeffrey Klein back at the 800-606-1485 number and that he was from Inter County records.

I had a missed call from this number on my cell phone.  No message was left, and when I tried to call it back, it was busy.  It has been busy all day and all night.  

Hello all, I did not receive a call from this Jeffrey but have received about 30 return phone calls from irate people as a result of this Jeffrey giving out my toll free number in error.  If you have or do receive a call from him and he leaves 800-606-4285, do not call, unless of course you need a YACHT transported. THANKS
