    SSI = Survey Sampling International.  They perform opinion polls and market surveys for a wide range of clients and have numerous call centers in the US and elsewhere.  Due to their calls not being sales calls nor an attempt to qualify you as a sales lead for a 3rd party, they are not required to screen numbers against the DNC list before calling. They are required to maintain an internal DNC list and place numbers on it when requested but it seems the only way to request that you be placed on that list is via their website.
