This number calls me at all hours but leaves no message.

Get calls from this number a lot, never answer cause I don't know this number, and they never leave a message.

got a call and let it go to voicemail.....
said it was verizon wireless customer retention calling with a special offer
1) my number is NOT the main number on the account, so a real call like this would go to my husband's cell phone
2)why would a call from verizon wireless be coming from a las vegas area code

yeah.. it's phishing... don't call them back.. i did dial 611 from my cell and verify that there were no notes or offers on my account.

I get calls from this alleged number at all times of day and night.  Never leaves a message.  

It's just Verizon using a semi-local number calling to tell you that your bill is late.

This is not Verizon, no matter what preliminary research may tell you. I've been a Verizon customer for a long time and this not how they advise about a late bill or advertise about anything new. All of their numbers are 800 numbers or # shortcuts, not a some obscure number out of Vegas. They also usually cut or minimize service and send a reminder text. (No, I don't work for Verizon) I've gotten 4 different calls from 3 similar numbers, never a message, no information other than to some who claim it's from Verizon. I have blocked each and every number and reported here. Whomever these people really are, do not give them any information.

It is not Verizon directly that is calling, however it is an 'authorized Verizon Collections Agency', according to 'Adrian' at Verizon Financial (800-754-0961). This number dials locally to people in the 702 area code. The number they're calling is listed as a 'secondary' contact on a primary line.

They've called 4 times today - The 4th time they finally left the message with the callback number (listed above) and the account number in question, so was able to provide that info to Verizon. Supposedly they're removing my number off that account.
