Received a call from this strange number and didn't answer.

Just keeps calling and not leaving a message or when i pick up no one talks

Received 2 calls from this # today, and one from 571-000-0000 yesterday (571 and 703 are in the same area).  No one speaks when I answer, and just quickly disconnects.  Strange.

this number appeared 2 times on caller id, no name, no message.

calls from 571-000-0000 and 703-000-0000 for the past two days.  Didn't Answer and they left now messages.  Called again tonight at 8pm on a friday.  I used some choice expletives and told them to take me off their list and hung up.  It felt wonderful.  A Google search shows them as an Indian Jeweler in Ashburn, VA.

Keep getting calls from various area codes and 000-0000

I keep getting these calls as well: 703-000-0000 and 571-000-0000.  I read a political blog where a strategist noted that campaigns often enlist these computer generated dialers to blast homes of opposition voters to annoy them to the point where they don't answer the phone and don't respond to political surveys to make their candidate look better in polls/surveys.  Let's hope these go away after tomorrow's primaries.

we get calls several times a day from this number.  If we answer, they hang up immediately.  Appears to be computerized.

I get 2 to 3 calls a day from 1-703-000-0000 - i answer they hang up.

Tonight - third one today i picked up but didn't say anything.  Someone came on asking me about the proposed hospital in Broadlands (Ashburn, Va).  I then asked who she was and requested that she take my number off her call list.  She rudely told me 3 times to answer questions and that would be the only way for them to stop calling.
I refused and she hung up on me.

Been getting calls all day, and I agree that this is probably politically related, so hopefully it will go away after tomorrow.  What's interesting, though ... is if I (a male) answer the phone and say "Hello?" I hear the call disconnect.  But if I answer the phone and don't say anything, eventually someone speaks up on the other end.  Going to have the wife try answering next time to see if her results are the same.

Keep getting calls all day from 703-000-0000 and 571-000-0000 but no one says anything... When I tried to call back, it said the number can not be completed as dialed... I talked to someone from my phone company and they told me to register with the DoNotCall Registery... This will take your number off their list.. 1-888-382-1222 and just follow the prompts.. This will take about a month for your number to be removed...

Five calls today with no message.  Harassment.
