Yesterday received 3rd call from "Americans for Prosperity Foundation." The first two were on Sept. 29 from 703-224-3200, but the one yesterday was identified on my caller id as: "Survey Call 253-246-8536".  The two September callers left recorded messages stating that the caller was from AFPF (one time gave name as Joel Aaron), who left messages relating to my property rights, meetings, etc. I called the 703 number, and a pleasant young lady explained they were "grassroots organization... news about events in your area... fiscal responsibility.... non-partisan." She also referred to the "Defending the American Dream Summit November 4 and 5 in Washington DC" and said there was a web site, www.DefendingTheAmericanDream.org, which I didn't bother to check out. I asked her to remove me from their call list, and she said she would. Yesterday's recorded message was from a "Nick Walker with Americans for Prosperity Foundation," saying something about my property rights and the Maryland Plan(?) and advising me of a "Town Hall" on Thurs. night 11/3 at ____ Senior Center. Also invited me to call 866-730-0150. I just called that toll free # which was answered by a gentleman identifying himself as Francis. He did not know why I would be receiving calls about issues and meetings related to the Maryland area. Francis did say that he was in the headquarters office of AFPF, and was located in the Washington DC area. I advised him that I had previously asked my number to be put on their do not call list. He checked and said my number was on the list and that he did not know why I was still receiving calls, but that he would follow up.

best guess is it is one of the americans for prosperity robocalls to get you to one of their web sites of which many seem to link to this phone nr

Unwanted political call

Calls and gets my answering machine and the 2 minutes later calls again.

I to have had them to call. No one will say anything. How do youy get on the no calkl list?

Apparently political activists, but wonder if they really qualify for the exemption to the Do Not Call rules.

Just received a call from this number and when I answered it, it was just a robocall.  My caller ID showed Washington VA.  I googled the number and found it to be Americans for Prosperity, so I left them a message on their website to stop calling or I would file a complaint against them.

They called last night.  I did not answer the phone as I did not recognize the number.  It was a call from Virginia.  This is the first call from this number but no doubt there will be more.

I am on their email list. I do not and will not give to a paid fundraiser/telemarketer. I specifically deal with the website and don't give out my number. If I continue to get calls, the donations stop...your choice. As of now your number is blocked, if you can't take that hint....

I got a call from 703-224-3200 with no answer when I picked up the phone. The Do NOT Call Registery # is 888-382-1222. It takes up to 30 days to stop these annoying calls. Call from each phone you have to register.

I  Have Been Receiving Telephone Calls From Americans For Prosperity And They Have Been Calling And I Have Been Receiving UNWANTED Telephone Calls From This Political Organization.  I Am Filing This Complaint Because I DO NOT WANT Anymore Phone Calls At Home From Them . I Am Tired Of These Automated Recordings . 24/7  This Is Getting Real Tiring My Roommates And I Want Them To Put Us On Their DO NOT CALL LIST  We Want Our Home Phone Number REMOVED Immediately .  Please Make Sure To REMOVE The Telephone Number Listed  In This Complaint . I received a call from this number during supper.  When I looked at the caller id, it said unknown name.  I'm not aquainted with anyone by that name,  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

Americans for Prosperity Foundation - Why are they calling AZ???  And the robocaller never disconnects!
