Possible spam.  Should my area code (703) but caller ID said out of area.  Rang a few times then stopped.  Meets the spam profile to some extent.

I got a call too. Mu husband answered it and there was no one there.

Caller ID showed "Centreville VA"; no message left.

Just received call from this number. Rang twice, didn't answer, didn't ring enough times for answering machine to answer. ID said Out of Area. Don't know who & really don't care. Now blocked on my phone.

Just got a call from this number as well.  Caller ID showed "Centerville VA".  They left no message.  A few searches on the Web shows quite a few people trying to look this number up.  Gotta be yet another fake phone number used by the same old group of spammers.

703 is the new area code for Las Vegas.  We have 2 area codes now 702 and 703.  I also received this call twice in the last few days.  Never rang enough for answering machine to pick up.

A robo call from Centreville VA on a Sunday. Wonder what the IQ of this bunch is?

Just received a call at 5:54 p.m.  I always answer calls even when I don't recognize the number and  say "(my county name here) County Sheriff's Office - how may I direct your call"?  Most times no one answers, so then I say "if this is an emergency, hang up and dial 911".   Then, I hear a click!  Gives me a chuckle every day to mess with these stupid morons!   Somebody needs to shake up the Do Not Call registry people - what a scam that is!!  Waste of time and money!

I just received a call from this number.  I said hello, it took 10 seconds for a response!!!!  This is suspicious to me.  They asked to speak with me I told them no I was NOT interested.  It should not take 10 seconds for a response.

Second Las Vegas area code # is 725 not 703.
703 is in Virginia.

According to my blocked call logs, these people called by number 3 times today!

Appears you & I both think a like except I wasn't clever enough to come up with your response. I just don't answer, block but may start having some fun like you are doing. I LOVE your comments. The Do Not Call Registry is a joke. It is only for honest telemarketers, not the scum that is calling us daily. I received 2nd call from this number today. Had posted on 1/30/15 when blocked number. Thanks for the idea in a reply if I want to take time to have some fun. Really hate to waste my time but we need to do something about these scumbags. Have a wonderful night.

Just received a call and I answered it.  It was a survey on using clean energy and then they wanted to transfer me to my state congressman and tell him to vote yes on the energy bill.  I hung up as I was being transfered.

These people do not give up.... 11 blocked calls to my number today!

This # has called 3 days in a row. When we answer no one has been there. My 8 year old called the # back and she told them never to call again. Lol. It probably won't work, but it made her feel better. Lol

Calls every single day. I've tried not answering but the calls continue. When I do answer there is no one on the line. Tried calling back and I got a generic voicemail. For the past 10 years I have repeatedly put our number on the do not call list. Seriously, we have all this technology and we can't stop unwanted calls for our personal residence?! Nor prosecute those who continue to break the rules and call anyway? Disgusting.

I received another call yesterday afternoon, so I picked up and said "hello, hello" until some girl came on the line and said she was calling for some political survey or something.  All I said was "Ma'am, you have reached the Sheriff's Office.  How may I direct your call?"

The girl shrieked "I called the cops!!!!!".

"OMG", she screeched.  "I'm so sorry".  "I'll remove your number from our list".

I'm still laughing!!!

Perhaps we need to start a petition with the White House website to have someone crack down on these crooks - find them, fine them and destroy them.

The Do Not Call registry is a scam unto itself as it has accomplished nothing since it's inception!  I get so mad when I read comments made by people on this website that cry on and on about being registered with DNC, but being bothered all the time by unwanted scammers.  When are they going to get a clue?

I've been getting numerous calls from this number.  I have filed a complaint with the 'National Do Not Call' registry every time they have called.  On Friday (2/6/15) night when they called, I answered and after about a three second delay a guy says, "could I speak with Jared?" Since I'm not Jared I told him that he had the wrong number and thoroughly chewed him out. I told him what a idiot he is also for calling the wrong number all week long and not leaving a message. I said other mean things that I won't repeat here.  The National Do-Not-Call registry is a joke!
