Received a call from this number.
Caller ID said "CONTACTNUMBER.C"
Did not leave a message.

This number has called my cell phone 5 times this week.  When I answer, it is an automated call. The automated caller stops if you speak, but they still call.

This carpet company keeps robo-calling my home number offering their services.  It used to call "Hi, this is Betty".  They have a different message now. This company robo-calls under different phone numbers. I block one number and it calls under a different number. What the hell?  I have left nasty messages on their voice mail.  I don't think it would do much good to report the phone number since these keep popping up under different numbers.  What a pain in the a**!

Carpet cleaning service robo-calling.  It keeps switching phone numbers after I block the previous number that they call under.

Their menu invites you to press a number to be removed, but they never do. I asked for a call back and when they did I asked the guy to remove me - He said he would but hasn't.

As stated in several preceding comments, this is yet again "Betty", supposedly offering carpet cleaning service.   This has to be the tenth different number (all in my calling area, but three different area codes), used by this entity.  We need to figure out what these "people" are actually after since they have been so persistent, for so long, using so many different numbers.  If people try and call the caller ID number (I do not recommend that), inevitably it is a surprised business (unrelated to carpet cleaning).  If it really were a carpet cleaning business, I would think they would use their actual number on caller ID, on the rare chance someone actually wanted to employ their services.  I would be interested to know if anyone ever said, "yes I am interested in having my carpets cleaned" what happens next.  I suspect this is some kind of info mining scam (i.e. get your credit card number "in advance" of service, and provide no service).

this company calls me about 5 times a week to offer carpet cleaning services. no matter how many times i press to be deleated from the calling list they continue to call. it is terrible

CID = unknown name.  Left no message.    Judging from previous comments, people are beyond fed up with these types of calls. The phone companies need to find a way to stop this.  They are in the best position to do so.

I am ashamed that some bloody robocaller is from my area in Virginia.  Bollix!    I would never use any company which employs phone canvassing.  I blocked the call using  a verizon  recording:  "this number is no longer in service" (available on the web as free download).

Got called on 4/10/2016, carpet cleaning.. Robo call. I did not bother to finish to find out the company.

As soon as I answered a recording started "This is an allergy report on your rug, carpet, or home......" It hung up at this point. Don't know why it disconnected. Maybe it picked up on the voice coming from my TV?
