No message today from this number -  whom could it be -  oh dear oh dear -   they must cal again sometime so i can answer with my whistle

Just says it's from Sterling Virginia. The 41st number this year  to add to my blocked calls.

Did not recognize # on caller ID so didn't answer.  No message left.

Caller ID shows only "Virgina Call".  Makes me think it's a wireless number.  But, that's exactly what they want us to think.  It's probably the National Recovery Agency.

I called this number back. They answer "This is the National Rifle Association. To find more about us, please dial Blah-Blah number". The call originates in Reston, VA.

"Sterling VA" showed up on the landlady's caller ID. Sterling is in Loudoun County while the NRA offices are in Fairfax County.

Regardless, I did not pick up as I did not recognize the number.

The National Rifle Association only calls members.  I don't know about the National Registery Agency.

What is the National Recovery Agency?

They are a  zombie debt collector.  That is, they buy up old debt for pennies on the dollar, often beyond the statute of limitations to sue to collect, and try to bully people into paying.

Call here every day; NRA; asked why they call so often, their calls are getting annoying. Caller apologized and was very nice; asked her why she was calling, said she had a survey question to ask and to have our subscription renewed. Advised her if we want to renew, will do it on our own, and asked to ease not call here again.
Guess what? Just called again today!

Stop calling! I work and sleep at odd hours sometimes and you wake me up. Take our number off your call list!

These people are dumb as the rock that they crawled out from under. It IS the NRA: "National Recovery Agency" - a debt collection business. They call here almost every day looking for my little brother whom has never lived here with me. I explained to these morons several times that last I heard he was not even in the state, has never lived with me, that he has never used this phone number, but I would take a message and stick it in a pile with several hundred other messages. This is too difficult for these dirt bags to grasp, and the Federal and State government "DO NOT CALL" lists don't apply because they're a collection agency and they have every right to torment family with their stupidity because he's my family. I'm done taking messages from these [***], and I'll never take another message from them after everything they've pulled. Morons!

A debt collection company. Beware... these people are brass plated morons!

Not sure why?? Didn't answer. Irritating!

If this is a debt collection agency; I don't know why they are calling me.  I don't owe anyone anything.  I'll answer tomorrow to see what it's all about.  Will post the results.

IF you are a member of the NRA..... you need to call 1-800-672-3888 and remove your name from their call list!  "DO NOT SELL, MARKET, or SHARE MY INFO and / or PHONE NUMBER!  AND DO NOT THINK THAT I AM INTERESTED IN ANY OFFERS."

The guy could not verify that ALL of these calls are from them...... but they have a 'rule': Do not call more than once every 25 hours!  WTHeck?  That is ever so annoying!!!

Pricks all me several times a week.National Recovery Agency disguised as the National Rifle Association. I never answer. Don't they get it that I will never answer their call ? Their wasting their time. I screen all calls. A real bunch of Bozos.

Yup! After reading the posts I had to call the number back. It is definitely the National Rifle Association (NRA).
