Asian person with threatening IRS notifications.

New scam. Virginia number from the "irs" sending automated, accented threats about lawsuits. Called back and got another accented dude saying they're the irs. Look up irs phone scams; this is pretty much textbook. The irs isn't the one to tell you about lawsuits.

Yep, number said IRS and had Indian accent too. Number is originating from India and routed to a VA 703 area code.  The Feds do not call unless you have a personal contact already!

an indian person calle me from this number yesterday and threatened that the IRS is suing me for tax evasion and they needed my criminal lawyer's name.  i asked how much the IRS says i owe them and the first person hung up on me.  this morning they actually left a message threatening me with the same lawsuit.  scam!  you will receive written info from IRS attorney's, not to mention certified letters.

This a scam they are useing a spoof number I just reported this number and was told it was a scam I knew it was Google IRS phone scams. This Indian guy was telling me iam going to go to jail and the cops will be my house in 1 hour they try to scare people into paying money they used a fake badge number fake claim number he some 1 acted like a officer they must look for older people that will fall for this type off scam always report these calls they are in diffent country.

Same as above -  Indian accented man saying he is from IRS and my wife is going to jail for tax invasion.  Total scam--- he hung up on me.

yup. same here. foreign accent, said he is from irs. hang up on me after couple of probing questions. obvious scam.

I just got the same scam from the same number today.  When I told them I was going to hang up and have my husband call the IRS since he is the one who handles our taxes the guy told me to have a nice day and hung up.  Also very heavy accent and hard to understand.

Got a call from 703-349-0434 and when answered it was a foreign accented automated system saying that I have a lawsuit against me from the IRS to call back immediately.  Knowing this was a scam I called back and got yet another Indian foreign accented person answering the phone. I told him I wanted my number removed from their system. He asked why is this, I told him because this is a scam.  He said "And", I said and your a A** and as Im hanging up he was going off.  I hate these people take prey on us and some people bless their hearts, don't know any better and they fall for it and get all messed up.

I called back and told them I have reported them to my IRS to see what they would say, and I got a nice little hang up.

He couldn't even pronounce my name!  Idiots!  His Indian accent was so thick, I could barely understand him!  I did a google search on the number, that is how I found this listing!

Indian man called me i called him back said i owed the irs money after this went on & on for the longest time and he made repeated threats and would not allow me to contact an attorney or any third party i told him if he felt the need to have me arrested then so be it.

Received the message about the IRS suing me for tax fraud.  When I called back, the thick accented person kept repeating that the IRS has come to the house three times but was unable to make contacting with anyone.  I also received the threat of a 72 hour jail hold pending investigation.  He kept wanting the name of my criminal lawyer.  I am now waiting for the person to come as I was told he would be here in 45 minutes.
