First call from this number - no references online to the number but the [spoofed] Caller ID name of "Mortgage Help" has a few hits as a scam, illegal telemarketer.  Already using PhoneTray to block entire 703 area code where I've received many calls from telemarketers.  Just one more illegal scammer to add to the list.

Heard no recording in the background when my computer answered the call so must be a smaller company.  Anyway, played them my little SIT and phone number disocnnected message and reported to FCC & DNC.  Unusual to get these calls on a Monday - Usually it's a mid-week thing for me.

"Mortgage Help" Right. Randomly dialing snake-oil salesmen.

Caller ID says Springfield VA. Caller did not leave a message.

Woman calling about mortgage rates. It's in violation of DNC, of course.

got a call from this number for mortgage. i don't answer the phone for anyone I do not know. it is a time waster.

I am on the Do Not Call List and would like to have all such calls stopped.

No message. I never answer unknowns and used to block the nos. as I have that capability too in my Panasonic. However, the sheer numbers of these calls these days isn't worth it, and I think they have multiple numbers for outgoing use. We need to develop a 'sudden' method for retaliating to these intrusions...

Rude female called and hung up before I could get a complete sentence out.  I was answering the phone for my friend who is hospitalized and of course they do not care.  I called back to get their her number off their calling list, though I am sure this will do no good.  What would be very nice?  If people would pick an actual profession and not just call random numbers all day.  I would not have answered it at all except my friend was expecting an important call from her health insurance.

Whatever these people claim they have to sell, I don't buy anything unsolicited, and certainly would not give business to a company that hires incompetent and rude staff.

What's great is that they never ring through...not even to my answering machine...they just get an "eternal" ring so I get to waste their time!

Sounded like a scam. Mortgage . I told them I was in bed and only had 3 months to live and they kept talking. I'm healthy as can be. I didn't look at my caller ID before I answered. The lady sounded like she was an illegal person in the USA. Too, the National Do Not Call List must be a joke.

I get so sick of Mortgage Help calling our household.  There are several different numbers from which they call, but the most recent was 703-372-0770.  Before I can get out DO NOT CALL ME, they hang up.  The phone rings from morning until night with most calls coming in unavailable.  The only time we answer is to ask for a DO NOT CALL, as if that helps.  the Do Not Call law was a waste o time.

Call Received, call Blocked.

Answered by saying "WHAT DO YOU WANT?" and they hung up on me :)

Mortgage company and when I told them we were not interested we were selling they hung up.  Hate rude people!

This was an interactive recording for me.  Wanted to let me know about refinancing options, even though I said I was NOT looking to refinance.  I asked to be removed from whatever list they were using and into the second word she started asking another question.  I would answer a question and a few seconds later a response.  I would ask a question (what is the name of your company?) and again started asking another question while I was talking.  Then hung up when an answer wasn't what they were looking for.  I don't usually answer unknown numbers but this was a local number & I figured it may be one of my kids with a dead cell phone.  Obnoxious!

Getting calls from this number several times a day and getting tired of this!

they never left a message, so I called back and the recording said if you want to be taken off their list touch 2, we'll see if it works, it takes 48 hours

Mortgage help.  Yeah right.  Sounds like a real scam.  Who does anything to help others over the phone if there isn't a whole lot in it for themselves.  This is bogus crap.  If they really want to give me mortgage help, why don't they just pay off my entire mortgage and pay all taxes I might get for forgiven debt.   I'll just stick with the lottery.  The odds are better than these spammers really helping anyone with their mortgages.
