Same caller different number and called at 8:30 am!! I though telemarketers could not start callling until 9 am...
As I will save number and assign a silent ringtone to number it will not be an issue again.

I have started refusing to answer calls from those to rude or sneaky to identify themselves.  This caller was, "Not Available".  No message was left.....

I got a call this morning and they asked for my husband.  He did not identify himself.  I thought it was a friend of my husband's so I preceeded to tell him that he is not here.  I am a bit worried.

Two calls from this number showed up on my caller ID today - so far. One at 8:52 AM and the other at 1254. No message was left. During previous weeks my caller ID shows calls from 703-373-0821 at 8:41 AM (12/13/14) and 703-372-0808 at 9:36 AM, 12/10/14. Same area code. Same scenario - no message left on voice mail. I am curious as to why no message is ever left and why the caller is calling me.

Last called back in December, same action, called right around 8:30 am, rang about 4 times before giving, will add back into my list as I had removed since no call in long time, add to silent ring again   Also calls from 703 372 0808

Calls all hours for months. It is daily. Never leaves a message. I am to the point of ending phone service. Phone Co does nothing to help. I'd just says Springfield va

Called at 8:30 and asked for my husband by name.  When my husband picked up the phone no one was on the line.

This rude spammer called at 8:06 AM on this Saturday morning and then called again later in the day.  Neither time did they leave any message.  They blocked their identity and "Springfield, VA." showed up on the caller ID.  Probably some kind of scammer.  The government could do a lot more to stop a lot of these calls.  They simply choose not to.

Got nine (9) calls from this person over the past four weeks . . .  call log says "Springfield VA".  The first few calls there was no message.  Then a male voice with a Virginia accent asks, "Is Steven there?", then hangs up without leaving any message.  Calls come any day of the week.  Always from 703-372-0787

Many months ago, I came up with a plan:  set my ringer to "off" and let my answering machine answer (using the default "robot" voice) after 4 rings . . .  if it's a legitimate call, then someone will leave a message.  If not, they will hang up.  This process screens out ALL unwanted calls and gives me peace and quiet.  Otherwise my phone would be ringing off the hook  <lol>   :-)

My guess is that this guy is trying to annoy me into answering and/or calling him back, so that he can verify my phone number and sell it to other scammers, etc.

This jerk called again this morning and got immediately hung up on.  Unfortunately even if your voicemail takes the incoming call from these spammers, they will already know your number is a real, active number and then sell your number to other spammers.

I love this website.  The feedback is outstanding and extremely helpful, thanks everyone. I recently invested $89 to buy a CPR Call Blocker V202 (http://www.cprcallblocker.com).  This devise is simple to use and blocks up to 1200 calls, including preset categories. The house is strangely quiet these days.  Those calls that are not blocked, are quickly verified on 800notes and added to my growing collection of blocked callers. This guy calls and asks "Is Richard there?"  He's called frequently from several numbers.

I also received a call from this number at 7:54 pm from 703 372 0787. He just kept repeating himself saying "Is Steven there?" And I said no he's not may I asked who is calling. He began to say his name was Rick from the Virginia state police and he was calling about a Return order. Well when I asked what that was he began to get sarcastic and say uh yeah that's what I said. So that seems to be the only thing different from what I have read in other statements. I don't understand how you can impersonate a police officer and get away with it.

This dude from 703-372-0787 just called at 8:50pm! Wtf...he asked for the lady or man of the house. I simply said I'm sorry, can I take a message. He said no message, I'll call back later and hung up. Uh...no thank you!

I let my answering machine answer.  Ir simply says, "No one is available to take your call, please leave a message."  They don't.

Caller ID says Springfield VA.  Seems like a scammer of some sort.

I will block them if they become a bother.  Some Panasonic phones allow you to block up to 250.  Fios allows you to either block all "Private" calls or up to 100 numbers.

This #calls me several times a day.  No one on the line. Very annoying. There has got to be some way to stop these calls.

Ever try letting unknown numbers ring with NO kind of an answer? Be patient and ignore the phone entirely. You can get them tired of wasting time calling you after a bit.
