Caller was speaking Spanish and there was a lot of static and background noise as if he were in a vehicle.  I do not speak spanish so I couldn't understand what he was saying.

they also called me from this number.and my phone did not even ring once.when i called there is no ring and but someone answers the phone

Received call on 7/24/08, 3:15PM.  By the time I got to my cell phone to answer the call the calling party was no longer on the line.  I know the call is coming out of Arlington, VA, but do not know who it is.  More than likely it's selling auto warranties, or whatever.  Probably a SCAM!

Just got the call from this number not even a minute ago. Like everyone else it was in spanish and had the static in it also. Sounded pre-recorded. I speak spanish and was able to understand the message, which was something to the affect of "you have been selected as a winner of our sweepstakes press one to..." i hung up promptly cause I'm not aware if this is just Cellphone spam or a Scam. Hope someone can figure it out and get it to stop.

Yeah I got this stupid number to call me too... I speak no spanish at all so I listened then was like whatever and hung up... so much static... it annoyed me becasue I was sleeping...

Just received the call about 20 min ago.  Something about a Travel company and to call back if I was interested.

Got the same call 5 minutes ago.. the call is a telemarketing (scam) call, was at 9:36PM which is illegal, and was to my cell phone which is also illegal.
The message is pre recorded in Spanish and says, "You are the winning call, your call is number 10, and is a winning call, if you want to claim your prize please press 1" I pressed 1 and the call was connected after a brief message the I must remember my winning number "10". Nobody answered and the call was disconnected.
I called the number back and is a recorded message now in English that says that is a "Travel" call and they will call me back.. I hope they do so I can get more information.

got a call during the middle of the day today on my cell.  i don't answer calls i can;t identify (why waste my minutes) so let it go to voice mail.  needless to say they didn't leave a voice message.  oh well.  with most cell phones you can put it on the reject list and the phone automatically rejects calls from that number.  won't even let it leave a message.

Just received the call on what is a brand-spanking new number and cell phone line for me. It was a Spanish recording and I could not quite hear it. I hung up promptly.

just got a call from this number 5 minutes ago. I always get these calls from different number and they all lead me into this type of message forum.

It's really annoying and happens a few times a week.
Is there a way to stop calling my cell phone?

It gives the option to have your number removed at first I called then I got an automated to answer and gave me options about removing the only thing I did not like that was they called after 9 pm legally not allowed to do hours permitted to call are 8 am - 9 pm if you need more info look in Google for FDCPA

It is ok to call unless you tell them not to call then you get the call and then it's a legal issue check out ---> FDCPA <--- Google it ... Hours are 8am to 9pm

English man automated * states "Travel related call" if you wish not to get anymore calls to enter your telephone number ... or do not enter it and will keep trying to reach you ==== come on ... help yourself don't just complain --- Google learn about FDCPA --
