I received a call from Bill Elliott and I stayed on the line to speak with someone about these illegal annoying calls and she hung up on me. When I attempted to call back the number was disconnected.

I just got a call from theae idiots.  My police whistle just happened to be in my mouth and I did my best to let their ears ring after blowing said whistle as loud as I could.

Police whistle takes too much work -- and these idiots aren't worth it.  I bought an air horn and with one push of the button, blast it through the phone when they call.

Got a call stating I could lower my credit card interest rates; stayed on the line for an operator, told them I was on the do-not-call list, if I heard from them again, they would be reported to the FCC.  (Yes, it's a Virginia area code, but I wonder if these people are even located in the US? )

Do Not Call is a joke.  I've reported so many calls and nothing helps, including these morons that call EVERY SINGLE DAY.

I'm with you Gary. I don't even waste my time reporting these calls anymore.
If I don't recognize the #. I do not pick up.

Same as Dee ... if I don't recognize the number, I ignore it.

I've been thinking of putting nyah kitty song on my phone and seeing how long they'll listen to it before they give up. Thankfully I have a DECT 6 type phone and can block up to 30 of such numbers, but as they keep rotating their numbers called from, I have to keep subtracting old ones, adding the new ones, till they return to using the old ones. If you port your number to Google voice you have unlimited blocking.
