UTD CANC SUP FD shows in caller ID.  It is United Cancer Support Foundation.  American Institute of Philanthropy' "Charity Watch" has given them an F rating.  Located at 6700 Baum Drive, Suite 8, Knoxville, TN 37919 (www.unitedcsf.org)  Organization is known to solicit under names American Association for Cancer Support, American Breast Cancer Support Association, Cancer Support Fund

Will not leave msg if call not picked.  Two calls per day on regular basis.  All numbers now blocked

This appears to be for donations to  the United Cancer Support Foundation.  Who, according to watch groups, only give 5% (the minimum)  to charity and pocket the rest.  It's a scam, just like 95% of the calls I get anymore.  These people should go to jail for calling them selves "non-profit".

It was Tricia from something called AC Services. She asked for me by first name, not my nickname. She used her well worn line, "You are harder to reach than the last cookies on the top shelf." I told her I knew all about her "charity" and I wasn't going to give her any money. She said, "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that." And I hung up.

Oh, and you can't mention the name of that popular internet blocking service on eight hundred notes! If you do, you'll get the dreaded "post pending moderator approval"!

And you can thank spammers for that little deal. They overdid it and the Administrator finally had enough

My original post got deleted –  This caller is aggressive – at least 4 calls daily – and after 9:00pm. My phone only rings once (see above) but it's really constant and annoying!

Add Springfeild VA to the areas even though it is listed here as Alexandria VA the Area Code is actually for Springfield. Only reason I answered is because I thought it a family member's number. I will be reporting them because they called here at 530 830 10AM pretty much every couple hours or so I guess it is because I made the mistake of answering the first robo-call OH NO NO NO

I believe this company is a scam.  Tried to get my card information over phone.

She said the exact same thing to me! (I answered only because I'm expecting a call regarding a furniture delivery and thought it might be them.) I told her I don't give donations over the phone.

I started getting phone calls from all cancer groups after I made a donation for my friend to partake in Avon 39. The number is blocked now, but I believe the Avon group sold my information right after the processed my check.

My wife made a donation to one of these groups 5 years ago, Before  Charity Navigator existed.  Now  she has gotten call's from 5 different Cancer Charities, they must all share the same database of possible "suckers"  . After I finished investigating most of these 990 , they are nothing but SCAM operators giving most of the $ to the fundraisers  Not to the charities they mention in their names.  MOst only give between 2%-5% and keep  95-98% as ADMINISTRATIVE costs or Fees. THeir Solicitation firms may be in house or a DIRECT RELATIVE as well!.  BTW I retired as a Criminal Investigator from the GOVT. SO I know EXACTLY what I speak of.  If you can't check them out on Charity Navigator by the BBB or you cant get their EIN #   99% of the  time they are not  CHARITIES but SCAMMERS getting RICH off your generosity.

Don't give your $ to people who call you on the phone make them send you a brochure  or get their name and check out their activity on the Better Business Bureau first before giving 1 dime.

Asking which fundraiser calling on behalf of which charity is the key to who is calling. As mentioned above AC Services aka Associated Community Services with search "SOS WA AC Services" gives results https://www.sos.wa.gov/charities/search_detail_cfr.aspx?cfr_id=364 listing their Southfield Michigan address and multiple charities they call on behalf of. File complaints of abusive predatory call tactics here http://www.michigan.gov/ag/0,4534,7-164-17337_18095---,00.html They also are a listed solicitor under "50 Worst Charities"

Same as everyone above.  I never answer.  They called twice today, calling from Springfield, VA.  Such aggravating pests, don't they ever, ever, ever stop??

Recv'd call today, 3/15/16, at 8:30 am.  Husband picked up and female caller asked for me by name; he told her I was sleeping and she said he was OK to speak to.  He caught only a few words, one of which was "support."  Told her we're not giving money and slammed the phone down.  ID was Springfield, VA.  Thanks to RForster and others for the very helpful feedback.

Another charity scammer that called right around 8 AM.  Left no message, how typical.
