When I answered the call, all I heard was someone breathing/exhaling slightly into the phone.  I also heard some talking in the background.

When I answered, the person asked for a person with a similar name as mine. I asked who was calling, they asked for the same incorrect name. I asked a gain who it was, it sounded like there was someone else in the backround. The person hung up.

I have received calls from this number daily for the last week, each time, i say hello and no response.  I hear someone on the other end of the phone but no answer.  I say hello again and they hang up.

I just got a call from that number. Like the rest of you, I said "hello?" but they just hung up.

Perhaps there's a pattern in their madness?
Or perhaps not.

Either way- This annoyance should be obliterated definitively.

to add, A reverse search shows that they're from Herndon, VA and use the Verizon network.

Call them back, they let the phone ring.
Sounds like a valid nut case to me.

Calling repeatedly for the past several months.  I too looked this number up on reverse look up and verified that it is a residential line in Herdon, VA on the Verizon network.  I tried calling the number and got a busy signal the first time the next time they just let the phone ring.

Got a call from this number tonight (1/15/08).  Just heard heavy breathing on the phone, and perhaps a TV.  Also sounded like a child's voice in the background.  We Googled the number and tried to call it back, but got a busy signal.

Seems like a whacko.

Have received several phone calls from this number, most of just hang up when we say "Hello" or have someone breathing heavy on the other line, with a TV in the background, until we hang up.  When you try to call the number back, it's busy...always.

I looked up the name through a search service and the phone number is registered under the name Capitalx Nva and they are located in Herndon, VA 22207.  Couldn't find any other info.

Have been receiving calls from this number for over 2 weeks now. Got a report on it - registered under NVA CAPITAL, fairfax county, herndon, (703) 537-4395.

They just called me. I found the parent company. They are removing me from their list. It's some window company. Here the Northern VA. # 703-352-8600. You can find them at www.greatviewwindows.com

This person call every day to my home and hang up as soon as we answer.
