Got a call from this number--no message left.  On a different site (who calls me), this number was reported as a phishing call from a "carpet cleaner" company. As far as I could determine, "Morton Beyer" is part of the name of a legitimate company, so this was probably a spoofed number.

Got the same call from Beyer Morten Re: carpet. I'm not even a customer and it's annoying because it's on my business line.

There is no winning with these people or the other telemarketers. Don't get mad
or lose temper. If you want to get them and have some laugh, have "phone sex"
with them (for free!). At the beginning, act normal, serious, and ask a simple relevant
question. As soon as the caller thinks that you have fallen into their trap, start
the "phone sex" gig. For instance, ask the color of her panty or if he is willing to
have certain type of sex from behind ...

have not given cell phone number out. # called . went to  voice mail that did SIT tones and said "the number you have dialed is not in service" ...plus  anti telemarketing, political, and charity message. put on do not call list ! ... no message left.

if they are a carpet cleaning company then jokes on them i have no carpets, just wood floors.
one guy got mad at their calls so he made an appt. they came out and got real mad when they discovered he only had wood floors.

and robo calling is illegal in most cases if not all.

Automated message telling me it was the carpet cleaning service and "since we were past customers.." They were calling to follow-up for any service we may need.

We have all hardwood floors and have had so since we bought this house in '99

The Carpet Cleaning Company, also call from 301-328-8997 and I live in New Jersey nowhere near Maryland or Virginia!!!

I received this call on my landline two days ago. Because I did not recognize the name in the CallerID, I did not pick up the phone. The caller did not leave a message either. I have an app called PhoneTray on my computer. It will block calls from this number from now on.

Got a call... they didn't make it past my spam check though, so my phone didn't ring and no message either. Found the website of the company though, by searching Google for the phone number. Feel free to email them about how we all hate telemarketing.

Got a call from Beyer Morten recorded message Re: Duct Cleaning, after hitting #1 to speak to a representative, "busy responding to other calls", dumps you into voicemail.

Same name and number called, did not leave message, SPAMMERS

Since these carpet cleaning robocalls Saturday and today (though my house has wood floors) were the first other than from a questionable real estate developer (who claimed to have bought the house next door, that an elderly neighbor turns out to have sold for 2/3 of assessed value to enter assisted living)  that I've received since posting about 305-368-8132 more than 3 weeks ago, I wonder if this too is associated with some real estate related scam. Of course fraudsters wouldn't care that cold telemarketing calls to a cellphone are illegal, especially when it's on the do not call list.

So thanks to some sleuthing by a fellow recipient of a call from this same outfit who posted over on whocallsme-dot-com, Morton Beyer passed away in 2010:

Beyer Morten.  Do not know him, did not pick up phone.  This is the first call I've received from this person at this number.

I received a telemarketing call from this number, and the name "Morton Beyer" showed up in my Caller ID. But, even weirder, the name "Morton Beyer" showed up in my web browser's autofill feature last week! I spent an hour changing as many privacy settings as I could find.
