Same call - tax fraud, filing a warrant in my name and SS #.  Woman had a heavy Indian (India) accent.  The funny part is I've been retired on disability for 15 years.  The taxes I pay are next to nothing.  Laughed at her.  She hung up and called back to leave a voice mail message.  SCAM  SCAM  SCAM  SCAM  ..........

Received call from someone who identified themselves as an IRS Agent #0255874 with name "Stephen Price." He claimed that after conducting an audit on my taxes from 2011 to 2014, I owe the government money and the IRS has submitted a lawsuit against me for failure to make any attempt to reach back to the IRS when they tried to contact me. When I tried to call back the phone number: 703-740-5750, someone other guy answered claiming that I had just talked with him, when it was obvious from the sound of his voice, he was a different person. What's so odd about this call is that he just hanged-up on me. That's when I had to raised the Scam Flag! Thankfully, I found this blog website where others like myself can rest assured that it's in fact a Scam. My only concern is they asked me to verify my address & home phone #. What can or will they do with that information? Does anyone know?
