This number is an already reported IRS Scam threat (first reported in 2013) - caller (Hispanic accent in this case) leaves a lengthy message advising to call back immediately or face severe consequences.  BLOCK them.  Do not engage.

Received two of these calls, each from the same person named Frank. Did not use our name, just told us to call back.  Thinking of calling back from an unlisted number and posing as a Treasury Agent.  SCAM!  Since when does the IRS call?  "Frank" said that getting a call from the IRS really puts us in trouble.  Yea right!

SCAM !!!. Yes, this number 703-828-0309 left me a message saying that if i dont call back then IRS only can wish me good luck ! lol. His name was Frank and sound indian. He also said that it was the IRS Fraud Department. LOL.

"Frank" called me as well. A total fraud! Block them and do not engage!

Same as above, threatening call, claiming to be from IRS investigating tax fraud. SCAM!!!

Same as others, said they were from the IRS and wanted me to call back and pay up.

Second go round with this IRS scam blocked them once a few months ago and already back at it. SCAM ALERT.

Indian guy trying to pose as IRS and to not disregard this message because the problem would fall on me. And wishing me good luck and to call him back at this number.... SCAM!!! Do not call back!

Have called 3 times this AM, always let it roll to voice mail.  Have notified IRS. Idiots apparently think we are not smart enough to Google a number we don't recognize.

I wonder if the FBI really tries to stop people like this! It shouldn't go on more than a week to catch someone doing this!

Not much anyone can do.  The calls originate in either India or Pakistan.  As such the callers are beyond the reach of US law.  Call blocker might help.

Got a call from "IRS" warning me about fraud letters received by them and I should call them immediately to avoid legal action against me. The name of the caller was Frank

Received 3 threatening messages yesterday a.m. from this number. Said good luck if I didn't call back. Supposedly from the IRS Tax Fraud investigation unit or some-such description. Called my accountant who checked the number online and this site came up...thanks to all of you who posted prior to me! Also, didn't identify me as the person he was calling. Don't call back.

This 'Frank' left me three messages saying the same thing.  He is from the IRS and received a petition regarding us and having filed fraudulent taxes.  Sounds like the call is a recorded message, since there was hissing, scratchy sounds in the background.  The weird part of the message was at the end when he says the only thing that I can do is wish you luck.  This is the second round of similar call/message.  I got a different one about 6-7 months ago. SCAM!!! Number he left was 703.828.0309

I keep getting messages that claim they are from the IRS-- very threatening around IRS audits.
