have received 3 calls in the past hour from this number claiming I have committed fraud/no tax payment and should contact the "IRS Audit department" at 703-828-0435.   I contacted my accountant first and they said this was a scam.

Received two calls from this number on 3/25/2015. It was a recorded message saying that the IRS has attempted to deliver a letter to no avail and to call that number! I ignored it because I've heard of that scam!

It's a scam!

Stupid IRS scam. Some Indian sounding guy claiming I haven't paid something and threatening to sue me. LOL, what a joke.

Called twice within ten minutes this morning, alleged IRS auditor, threatened legal action in voice mail message. I did not pick up either call.  Definite scam, the IRS never makes a phone call before establishing contact by mail.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I have received four phone calls today all threatening me if I did not call back. Luckily I had been informed that this is going around at present so I did nothing but check on this site.

I keep getting calls on my cell phone from 703-828-0435.  I have had a least five calls today from the same number.  The first time it was a recording threatening me with arrest for not paying my taxes and if I didn't call back they would have me arrested.  The second time they called they asked for my wife.  The third, fourth and fifth times they called I would either get a recorded message, voices in the background and a disconnect or just simply a disconnect.

Total terrorist loser posing as an IRS audit agent. Tied up my phone for 30 minutes, repeatedly calling even when I didn't answer and the call went to voicemail. Wish I had all that much free time to harass people...

I received the same call. I call them and it was a indian sounding guy telling me they tried to contact me for over 30 times. i asked them to where and he gave me some crap address. i immediately contacted IRS but they are too busy to answer they said. I tell you this is a definate scam.

I received a few calls from this number today.  This is the third call like it in the last three days - two to my cell phone and one to my land line.  All different numbers, all saying I owed lots of money and all scams.

2 calls last week and 3 calls again this week from this number.  They only leave messages telling me I owe taxes and legal action is being taken against me.  If you call the number there is no one there.  Getting tired of being harrassed.
