fraudulent IRS phone cal to collect personal info and money.  They threaten with action against you on this urgent matter.  The IRS will generally contact by mail and have your information-i.e. your name.  Don't get scared of these thick accented scam artists.  They likely got your info from a job finder site with your resume posted.

I received a voice mail message from this number, it was a woman with a thick accent, stating it was the IRS with an urgent matter. And that a lawsuit was pending against me.

I just got the same voicemail. My location in Atlanta, Ga

They must be desperate. Two calls within two hours. Oh my I'm SO SCARED...LMAO. A friend actually called a similar grifting outfit back and had an ugly time with them. As for me, I saved the messages and have already passed them onto my local police chief.

Pre-recorded message, a woman's voice with a Russian accent: "There is a lawsuit against you from the IRS. After very close hearing of the message (sic) you...call our hotline division."

A lady with a "tick" heavy accent (sounds like India or Pakistan accent) claims to be calling from the IRS and that is an urgent matter!  She warns not to disregard this message because they will take legal action.

It goes something like this.....
Hi, This is a automated voice message just for you by the Internal Revenue Service
We want you to call us back at the very first hearing this message as this issue is very serious.
There is a lawsuit filed against you by the IRS Offices so before this thing works against you, call us back on the hotline
The number is (703) 879 - 6707....I repeat.....

Yeah IRS bla bla bla call is urgent bla bla bla call us back and heavy accent.
