Got call 2 times from this number no one speaking

Got voicemail from this # on my phone at work. Call came in at 1:54 a.m. on a sunday morning. No voice, just the sound of someone hanging up the phone.

I got the same thing at work. It was an hang up from this number on my voice mail the day after Christmas and 1:52 am. Weird.

same here, got a call from this number on my cell phone at 1:03 am. Not an immediate hang-up, but no one there.

I got 2 call from this number at my work phone, no msg.  one on 3/21/2009 8:53PM cental and one 3/21/2009 at 5:49 central.

Same as previous reports. Two calls, three seconds apiece. Both no sound, but a hang up.

Same here, call on 5/2 (Sat) at work, just the sound of a hang up on my voicemail.  Many coworkers received the same.   If you call back you get a message that the number you have dialed is not accepting incoming calls.

DO NOT PROVIDE PRINTER NUMBERS TO THIS CALLER!

I received a hang-up at 9:30 PM last night and then a call this morning at 10:00 AM.  The person on the other end immediately sounded suspicious, she didn't know my name, only my extension.  The caller requested that I go to the printer nearest me and provide her with the printer number.  I obviously denied her request and asked her who she was calling on behalf of.  She refused to provide me with the information, however still insisted on the printer number.  I then asked for a number to call her back at and she terminated the call.

After a bit of research, it was obvious that this is a SCAM. Apparently after the caller gets the printer number, your company will receive multiple boxes of toner and a bill...all of course unsolicited.  

Caveat Emptor!

Received call at 2:00 am on 09/21/09. There was no one at other end and I  hung up phone immediately. Of course it interrupted a nights sleep and very disconcerting to receive a call at that time!

Called at 12:50 p.m. today at work. I didn't pick up..

Same as other posts.  Received 8 second call 9:58 pm Sat November 7 and another at 12:40 AM on Sunday November 8.

I have received 2 calls from this number thus far on my work phone. Left no message on voicemail, just hung up.

06/10/10 at 10:57. I called the number, but only got a recording stating, "There is no mailbox for this number."

No indication of business/residential affiliation.

Received a voicemail from this number on my office line at 7:51 friday night.  Only a 2 second message and then a hangup.

Called my company provided BlackBerry at 9pm on the dot.  Never had a call from this number before, and I don't give out my company phone number as I have a personal cell phone also.  Answered the call, no one replied on the other end.  Hung up.

When i came in to work this morning (09-19-11) I had a message consisting of 26 seconds of silence from "VIRGINIA" at this number.  What really caught my eye was that the timestamp indicated 2:35 AM.

Call to call from this number on a Friday night at 1:45 in the morning when the world would call me then?
