I just received a call from this number and a guy with a heavy Indian accent stated that he was hiring for UPS just like the others mentioned on this site. He asked for my social and I told him that I will not give him that info because there are too many scams out there. He proceeded to pretend as if "his company" has a legitimate website and wanted me to look at it right away. This "look right away" technique is an old sales/scam tactic used as to not give the prospective "scam-ee" a chance to do proper, rational, and extensive research on them. I researched it and I can tell you that based on all that I have uncovered, this is a scam! DO NOT give information!- Caller: 22Centurary Staffing
- Jesse Rayman has Indian accent.
Claims to be staffing agency.

- accidental "make searchable" monster resjust after posting a resume on Monster, leaving it 'searchable' i began to receive calls from this number. I don't know what came over me, I suppose job search fatigue led to a bad decision.
- JimReceived a call from this number today and did not answer i and letting roll to voicemail. The grand total of the voicemail a click.
- AdrienneNot only did I get a call, I also got an email sent to my email address but the To part showed some different person, To pricemegan60@yahoo.com...obviously nowhere near my name. I'm glad I checked on this first. The email actually looked pretty legitimate. I've copied and pasted it below. These people are getting pretty scary when they can just get into all of your information. Gotta love technology!

Reply, Reply All or Forward | More - Mike| 2 repliesThis is a legitimate staffing firm, 22nd Century Staffing. They do placements for tech jobs, and for UPS. And they do have several people from India on their staff; just because someone has an Indian accent, doesn't automatically make them a scammer.
That is not to say that someone has not spoofed their number and start trying to scam people, but in my dealings with them they have been legitimate.
This from UPS's own job info site (https://ups.managehr.com/hiringprocess.htm)- "The pre-screening of candidates is often conducted by phone and/or email. To submit a candidate to UPS for consideration for a contingent position, suppliers that work in the GCSP will need to obtain various candidate information, including the candidate’s full social security number (SSN) and date of birth (DOB)." It also has a list of recruiters they use- first on the list- TSCSI!
BTW- there should be a "Legitimate" selection in the "call type" drop down below...- Caller: 22nd Centurt Staffing (TSCSI)
- BigA replies to MikeSince 99.9999% of the posts here claiming that a company is "legitimate" are by company paid shills trying to make their cons and scams look real, I doubt they are going to add that to the drop down list. Now since phone numbers can be easily spoofed, there is no guarantee that these calls are actually coming from this company, There should be a valid reason for the call, such as the person actually applied for the position, and no personal information should be required until there is a firm offer of employment. I do have to wonder though why you looked this number up, since you knew who the company was and seem to be happy with them after checking them out. Not a normal activity, looking up a number when you know who it belongs to and are happy with them.
- TheHolyHandGrenade replies to MikeWith identity theft at an all-time high, anyone calling and requesting one's social security number is severely questionable.

I eventually answered the phone again and said I already have a job I am not interested. And then blocked the number. Never once on any of the 10 calls did they attempt to leave a voicemail
- Caller: Bullcrap incorporated
- Call type: Debt collector
- DisgustedI did not answer the call, voicemail left in heavily accented English said something about hiring, couldn't understand most of it. Received same call a few minutes later, but only music was heard. I don't want these calls, don't need these calls, and if UPS is hiring, they need to get native English speakers to contact people who want to be contacted. I DON'T!
