Recieved call to return a call to 810 number

This number has called my inlaws and they have no debt

Calls several times a day/week and answer phone but no one ever on the other end

FNCB using a fake caller ID to appear as a local number, tries to collect time barred debts by illegally re-aging debts. Has also tried to collect past stat judgments telling consumers "a judge court ordered you to pay this" as if they are a representative of the court system. These clueless wonders also look at the consumers credit report and see an old mortgage and assume you owe numerous homes, autos, etc. just because you paid things in the past.

FYI: even if you send them cease/desist/return receipt they will violate the law and continue harassment. They are in SPARKS NEVADA.

I get calls from this number 2 to 3 times a day every single day. They hang up If I answer and, and they never leave a message! So I don't know who they are.  How did they get my unlisted number? I am on the do not call list.

I received call today telling me to call another number the number does not work. What is going on. Why can these people get real jobs and stop harrashing people that are working?

Just saw that I had a missed call from 704-456-1309, no message just a messed call.

We receive a least one annoying call daily from this number. Office Local: 704-456-1309.  
No one talks or leaves a message.  This is a form of harassment we want stopped.  We don't owe debts that would need to be collected!
Our land-line phone number was new to us in August of 2012 when we moved to Wilmington; however, it was someone else's number before it was ours.  
What can we do to block this number?

got hang up calls from this number 704 456-1309, also today a recorder says if you are "blank" please press 2.  The blank is actually blank (silence).  I press 2 and the guy acts like he can not here me saying hello.  He finally hangs up.  We are on the national do not call list.  Why do we have so many agencies in our government we go broke barrowing the money to pay them all but we get not service from our government  on stopping this??  Apparently from reading above, it's a debt collector.  We have no debt or bad credit.  The person who had this phone number 4 years ago at a different address and name had bad credit.  Why do these collectors refuse to update their database????????  yuuuuuk!!!

Another victim of this number. It is a harassment to get 2-4 calls a day from these people. They need to stop, no one at this number owe back debt. We have had this number for 24 years, no reason for them to keep calling..... SO STOP....

Getting 2-3 calls a day from this number to my mother's house. No reason for a debt collector (or just about anyone really) to call there because no one really lives there (mother is a full-time OTR trucker) or even uses the number to the house as their own. The phone is just in the house for emergency purposes. Nobody's really there to answer the phone, but it gets annoying to see this number on the caller ID.

Would love these people to stop harassing me. I am not answering them, giving them info, or anything of the sort. So all they are doing is harassing me, wasting their time calling, and wasting MY time by making me stop what I'm doing to answer the phone. I am also on the national Do Not Call list, but anymore I'm not sure why, since everyone still manages to call anyway... *sigh*

You obviously understand neither the purpose or functioning of the Do Not Call list. It applies solely to telemarketers offering goods or service for sale over the phone.  Debt collectors, as this caller appears to be, are not bound by the Do Not Call rules but are governed by other rules.  Go to the FTC website and search for the Consumer's Guide to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.  BTW, if you have a cordless phone with caller ID, set it nearby and just glance at the caller ID.  No need to answer every call that comes in.  If you don't have such a phone let your answering machine screen calls for you.  If it is someone you know, they will most likely leave a message and you can either pick up while they are leaving the message or call back.  Again, there is almost no reason to be a slave to your phone and answer every time it rings.

I received a missed call from this number on my cell phone. They did not leave a message.  The 704 area code is from a state that I do not live in.  The other posts concerning this number indicate that it is a debt collector, yet I don't believe that I have any outstanding debts.  It's possible that they are trying to reach someone who previously had my cell number, as I changed my number within the last year.  Otherwise, the call is a mystery.

This number is calling my mother's home and when I answer (with a nasty tone in my voice) they hang up.
