They have been calling my house for weeks. One of the lines I have is business. And it's registered as such. I spoke to the caller, and told him that he is calling a business line. And he replied that he is aware of that. He said they are do not call exempt and can call anywhere.

This organization has been calling my home for years, just thought I'd report it, we've never answered. Here's an interesting article regarding an investigation by Montgomery County, MD:

They call daily, sometimes two times, never leave a message. Do Not Call does not stop them. Are we having to pay $$$ to be protected FROM the police ???

When I answeared the phone they asked for me and then asked if my address was such and such.  When I said I dont give out that info he said thats ok I have it here on the screen, we just have to ask anyway.  Then asked for a donation and I again said I dont give out any info over the phone.  He said well I wont going to ask you for a credit card.  I then told him if he has my address like he said he did then he could mail me whatever and If we felt like we wanted to donate then i would send something in.  He quickly hung the phone up/

Jerks keep calling even after being asked to be placed on thier "do not call" list. Something's got to be done.

I received a call from this false account.   I did research here and found out it is a faud.   I figure if my local Police was raising money they would call me direct.   I have reported them to the Police and to local TV stations, so the elderly are not fooled by this.

Just got a call from these creeps.  Had heard several news reports about them.  Do not understand why they are not in jail.  It wouldn't be that difficult to locate them.

I received a call from this number yesterday and he became very irritated when I started asking questions. Please can we report this company as he say he is located in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Received several calls from this number. They do not leave messages. The ID user reads police protection. Very deceiving and should be illegal.

They keep calling, I have long since stopped answering.  They are a real problem that won't go away.

I plan to report them to our local Sheriff Dept. & TV stations in the area too.  They are calling and harassing my Mother.  She is on a limited income herself, and if they want to help, give her some help.  She has hardly money to buy her food with.  This to be a protection thingy of the Police you would think they would be in the protection of "ALL" not just their own.  If their own can not provide for their families, well maybe they need to moonlight or get a different career.  I think it is wrong for a job not to offer life insurance especially on such a job, or health benefits.  Mother is on the "do not call" list.  I think it is wrong to be on such a list and yet some are allowed to slip though it. It is wrong for a organization to other than my own Police/Sheriff Dept. to call.  I have advise her to send no monies, unless it is from our own.  God bless
