Calls threatening arrest for an unpaid bill.

Called to say they would turn over to sheriff depart for unpaid bill for Cashnet

Helped me out with issues with my 401k and got me a new credit card. There are programs for people like me with limited income

Regina contacted me about an debt from Ace Cash Express.  She had the debt date wrong by 2 years, I informed her I was in bankruptcy, and offered my Lawyer's contact information.  She refused, stated this debt was not dischargable in bankruptcy.  Said she could "help" me but needed me to say I had school-age children in the home.  I refused to lie.  I contacted my Lawyer the next day and he said it was a SCAM.  Regina called me back the next day, I told her what my lawyer said, her response was "we will be starting legal action".  I hope someone stops this woman from harassing people and get her to follow the laws that govern her "profession" .

If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money,  tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  You might have to yell at the scammer and talk over him or her.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.
