This call was from North Carolina.

Received another call several hours earlier from North Carolina
from 864-642-0510 that I tracked down to be Specialty Capital.

If these calls are for real, why don't they just send a letter through
the US mail system?

I got a call from this number.  A message was left and it was first financial bank usa.  It sounded automated.

Definitely First Financial Bank USA.

Calls but leaves no message.

keeps calling cell phone and using up pay as you go minutes then hangs up

This number belongs to First Financial Bank, but my caller ID just says "number."

I got a new phone # and then got this call - the caller has no association with me what-so-ever.

Received automated messages from this phone number and also a different number saying the same thing - "this is an important message for Erin Moore" and states it is from First Financial.  This has been going on for a year.  I finally gave up trying to get in touch with them and just delete the answering machine messages or disconnect the call if I'm home.

These damn people just don't know when to quit!! My phone starts ringing at 6 in the morning and they don't quit until around 11 pm. Something needs to be done about this crap. We are sick of it!!

Thanks to First Financial, I no longer need to set an alarm...they call like clockwork from a different number every time. They call about 3 times a day.

I get calls from them all the time. I've reported them numerous times but they don't stop. I've talked to them and told them to stop, but they stop for about 2-3 months and start back up again. I don't owe them crap and when I talk to them to get their info they ask why and I say "because I want to send the info to my lawyer" they immediately hang up. They basically are scammers. I've even change my number numerous times and they eventually find it and continue. My numbers aren't even listed. It sucks cause I give my lawyer all of the numbers (and I have to pay for his service) that call he calls them but never gets a response. He sends letters to First Financial and gets letters stating they apologize and will look into it but they still continue. My lawyer said that since 15 years ago I had an account with them (or a company that was owned or bought out by them) that they can still use that as a reason to call even if I don't owe them anything or even if I no longer want to do business with them (its some stupid clause or something that states that, regardless of time, if at some point you did business with them they can contact you for whatever reason as long as they don't do it X amount of times in a X amount of time-frame...totally baloney). That's why they stop and call from a billion different numbers because it technically does not count if different "offices" call you. We need to get our government to do something about this, to bad they are just as inept. I'm just glad that I have a unlimited calling plan so I'm not paying for the calls, nowadays its just more annoying then anything though. If you have problems like this unfortunately there is not much else you can do but what your doing right now. Good luck everyone, too bad this bank didn't fold like some others during the banking meltdown...I hope they do though in the future.

I understand what you mean. They alll my house everyday as well. They were calling my cell phone too but I got an app that blocks all the numbers with specific area codes. It's called Mr. Number try it it works.

Received a call from this number.  It is a sales call from Carolina Home remodeling, wanting to come help you remodel your bathroom.

I let it go to voicemail.
I'm a contractor, and they told me about some 5 year Contracts with the Federal Government.
I've had numerous calls like that before.  It's a well known scam

Scammers... ask for owner or president of the business.  Am guessing too lazy to figure out any real details of the company and just do blind calling.
