Got a call today, 3:40pm, caller ID shows "wireless caller".  No message left.  Guessing it was some kind of telemarketer.

Got a call from this number today around 12:19. No message left. Blocked number. Came up as Cell Phone NC on my caller ID.

704-870-9305  Did not recognize number, ergo, did not answer.  (Only ID is Cell Phone NC)  Left no message.  Search told me it was a robo-type call for some product or another.  I am on every do-not-call list imaginable and I'm still getting 2 to 3 calls of this type a day.
407-347-4169 is another offender in this line.  It identifies as a call from Winter Garden, Fla.  Google pegs it an another sales call.

Called number back, recording says they are asking for donations to benefit officers killed in the line of duty, gave number you could call if you wanted to make one.

Yes what they tell you?

Get calls from this cell number almost everyday.  I don't answer as there is no name associated with it.  Probably telemarketer....they let it go to voice mail and then hang up.  What happened to no call lists????

I picked it up because I thought it was a call I expected from that area code; otherwise, I wouldn't have even thought about it. Some spiel from a guy who I believed was named "Chris" calling on behalf of the Police Protective Fund. Never heard of it, sounded like a scam, hung up within seconds. Call was dutifully reported to a certain call service. Like many here, always happy to add anything I can to the thousands of calls on its list. Maybe others won't be bothered by this pest.

I listed this as a "non-profit" organization. Who the Sam Hill knows what this is.

I got this same call today.

The same recording came from a 727 area-code in February, which says to me they know they are a scam charitable organization, so they change phone numbers frequently to avoid getting caught.

Looking at the other thread (727-754-7969) on this site, it looks like they stopped using that number on 11 March, then started using this new number.

North Carolina police protective fund, says money donated goes to officer's families that have lost their lives.  Knew my name and where I lived.  Scary!  Told them I don't donate money over the phone, and the guy was relentless.  I hung up.

Received call from 1-704-870-9305, Police Protective Fund at 8:45 AM.  I am on a No Call List, but this one came through.  I want this call to stop and annoy me.   Why can't these unwanted calls be stopped?

Call came in at 7:45PM (Central Time).  Caller ID:  Wireless Caller Unknown area code and number.

No message and hangs up seconds before answering machine picks up the call.

Robo caller programmed to disconnect after three rings.  

One more added to my blocked call list.

Do not donate to anyone that calls - contact your local police department to inquire about donating money locally and ask if they are making phone calls to solicit.

I called back the number and it said the voicemail was full and stated it was for Police Protective Bonding. WTF is that? I am going to do a real prank on them.

I got a call from 704-870-9305 and answered.  The man on the line told me he was raising money for the police protection fund.  I told him that we do not do any banking business over the phone from people who call us because we are unable to confirm their identity.
