Got a call asking for my husband, mispronouncing the last name.  Said they were calling from "Vehicle parts" about a car we haven't owned in over 5 years.  I just told them we didn't own the car anymore.

Asked for me, said he wasn't home, no message.  What happened to "Do Not Call" solicitation list?

Caller asked about my specific car make and said I requested extended service. I said no and hung up. These kinds of calls tempt me to get rid of our landline phone!

Scumbags like these  have called my cell phone too!

Said he was from the auto processing dept.  I said  "the what?"  He spoke auto processing dept real slow like i am stupid.  I asked what auto processing dept and he hung up.  I would say scam.

Just got a call from 704-897-2971. Caller ID said "Davidson, NC". Answered the phone but nobody there and they hung up. I called the number back and got a busy signal.

just got a call from this number. Some mean nasty lady refused to talk to me the wife. Told me that it was okay that she would call my husband on his cell phone. She said it had to do with vehicle registration???  Major scam for sure!!!

Just received a call from this number.  Caller ID showed N Carolina.  Since I don't know anyone in N Carolina I didn't bother answering.  Glad I didn't!  They didn't leave a message either.

Answered, but no one there. Sounded like a "boiler room" in the background.

Hey Frank buddy. Plus, you didn't leave your phone number, which is a smart thing to do on a forum, but who would they know not to call back smart guy?

When I asked to be taken off this calling list, she replied, I sorry we can't.. then hung up on me.

Tried selling me an extended warranty.  Told them to remove my name.  I am on the DNC list.

Got a call from these people too...refused to talk to me and then hung up right away - like other callers said, 'what happened to the DNC list?'!

Got a call asking for my ex.  Told them he no longer lived here.  Asked about a vehicle we haven't owned in two years.  Told them we sold it.  She then said, "why does it sound like you're lying to me?"  I said, "How dare you call my house and call me a liar!"  And promptly hung up!

Just received a call from this number. I answered, at first no one there then some man came on and asked for some name I've never heard of. I said, Excuse me? He started laughing and hung up. I too agree why are we getting these phone calls when we are on the DNC list.
