Called my cell..left no voicemail

I just had them call me. same deal call and hang up. no message. I called it back and its a "rewards" hotline claiming they have a "reward" that you never claimed from a website you registered in a sweepstakes. Goes on to say your "reward" could be as high as $1,000.00 and can be used at any popular store. Yeah right. I pressed 2 to be put on the don't call list and now I have everyone from medical compensation to online college reps calling. DONT PRESS 2! Just hang up or better yet don't call them back!!  ITS A SCAM!!!!

Did not leave message. Phone tagged # as North Carolina. Thanks for pointing out that this is a scam.

Did not answer when area code showed 704

I get a call from this number on my net 10 pre paid phone .  I never answer any calls except ones I have in my contacts list .  I'm glad I searched Bing and came here to find all of the useful info about this  .  

Yep barb, my phone tagged it unknown so I looked the area code up and sure enough it was Charlotte and/or surrounding areas. Fowler I agree, I got this call on my straight talk pre paid phone also and did not answer. So watch out! A lot of phone scams going around lately.

Called said I won a cruise.  Lol yeah right.  I am in the navy the only cruise I am going on is with an aircraft carrier.  Added them to rejected call list.

This is the message they left, called 2 times, already...  I have comcast, so I can block there my online service with Comcast.  lol.......  suckers!  this is what my machine printed out.......

Machine please press one. We are asking if you're willing to answer a few questions for us. We will call you two more times to try to reach someone. If you do not want to be called again please just answer the phone. Press one and then hang up the call. This should remove you from the current call list. You should not be called again. In any case you will not be called more than a total of three times for this purpose. Thank you for your help."

The caller was a recording stating it was calling on behalf of an anesthesia group that had recently provided services to "someone at your [phone] number." Since it called my cell phone, I am the only "someone" associated with it and I definitely did not use such services. It instructed me to press 1, 2, or 3 depending upon who "received" the services. I pressed nothing and the call was terminated within seconds.
