Called at 3:43 p.m.  As I was expecting a call, I answered the phone.  Female caller identified herself as calling from the Conservative Party of Canada and wanted me to listened to a recorded message from Stephan Harper.  I said 'no thanks' and hung up.

What I wish I would have said was:

1.  I don't take or participate in calls from any political party at any time - especially before an election is underway.
2.  I reject calls soliciting support or funding from any organization.
3.  Any organization that makes calls as described in points 1 and 2 become more negative in my opinion.

Got two calls in one day from this nr. Second call after 8 PM.

Got a call at 8:30pm. Didn't answer because of unknown number and strange ringing tone.

I am convinced there is no solution in stopping these calls .....I have tried going the Shaw route following their instructions re blocking these annoying calls ....It does not work.....

Did not answer the call, but when I used Google talk to call the number back, it turned out to be the "voter outreach centre of Stephen Harper and the Conservative Party." Because it is a political organization, CRTC will not prevent the calls, but that doesn't mean that you cannot blow a shrill whistle into the receiver if you get the chance.

Got a call from 705-243-8372 some foreigner said they were from Statistics Canada.  Scammer it seems
