Unknown dead air call

2 rings then dead air .......... called back......4 rings and recording..."please leave message"

They phoned 11.29am, left no message - Private Number - pity they have nothing else to do.

Obvious scam.  Claimed there was "recent legislation" affecting credit cards, but when challenged could not identify any new laws passed.  Hung up the instant I hinted I was familiar with creditor-debtor legislation.

On my work phone, thought it might be business related.  Automated voice said "hello, this is credit services..." then I just hung up.

Getting one of these calls every couple of days; automated call regarding new legislation regarding credit cards; I dont have one!  I have reported this number to my local Sasktel provider but nothing has been done.  These types of automated calls are illegal in the UK and bloody well should be here in Canada, they are annoying in the extreme.  It gives you the option at the end of the call to be taken off their list by pressing "2" but I have done that every time I get these calls and I still get them.

Received call from this # moments ago. Thanks to these posts didn't answer.  And again thanks to these posts, discovered my panasonic phone has a call block feature. (Yes!)  At least this one number won't be wasting any more of my time.  My phone is not a new model (-maybe 2006).  I encourage everyone to 'google' their phone manufacturer's name + 'call block'.  I suspect a lot have this useful yet under utilized feature.  That's how I confirmed mine had it and found the instructions as to how to use it.

Panasonic... ohh my really!!- I will get myself a Panasonic for sure -  I also received a call from 877-427-3368 - Caller stated he was from Microsoft Security Support and that there was a breach in information on my computer - so wanted access to my laptop. I hung up. -- last 5 days, 4 different numbers on my caller ID - --- all scams!  I didn't answered to 127-252-3131 since I already knew that number was a scam too.

Credit Service, here to help you..... I hung up, should be a company that allows you to lower your credit rating on your card. That bull pucky scam, where they get your cc, call the company and try to lower your rate and then stick u with a bill for x amount of dollars for doing it. Who knows if it works, I heard only you can lower you rate by calling your cc and demanding it.

Also this could be a general number that Ontario shows up call display when the number is really unlisted. So Ontario Phone company gives this number out, it is kinda like the way phone companies allow telephone solicitors to exist, hey money is money to them. They need solicitors to pay their bills and so they mask their number for them so you can't go after them, and then they stay in business.

This is a scam phone number.

Ditto -- dead air. Call back got "leave a message" plus "sorry caller's mail cannot accept voicemail".  Now blocked.

I keep getting annoying telemarketers trying to fix my credit card balances, problem is, I never carry a monthly balance!

4:26pm...(mississauga, ontario)...just got a call from this number.  there was no name shown under caller ID so i continued to let it ring as my voicemail picks up calls after the 6th ring.  the caller hung up before it reached the 6th ring.

A recorded message offering lower interest on your credit cards, as low as 0% (yeah right). They offer that you can press 2 to be removed from their call list (yeah right).

I didn't recognize the 705 area code so answered.

i just got a call from the same number but didn't answer went to reverse look up to see who it may have been and found this place.  I am a telemarketer and from some of these posts I can tell this number is not an actual telemarketing business because legally we have to identify who we are where we are calling from who we represent and what the call is about as well as all real telemartketing calls are recorded.  when i called it back the answering service had said the "MAJIC JACK CUSTOMER you have called is not available at the moment and to leave a message" i live within the 705 area code in Ontario and when the phone rang it had my distinctive long distance ring. I'm not sure where some of you are from but I thought that majic jack was only in the states?? I could be wrong but it would be nice to know who this number belongs to.

why do you have a credit company's add on your post?  Didn't the caller from the number we are talking about say they were from a credit company???
