I got two calls about an hour apart from this number I got 2 calls about an hour ago from this number from a guy sounding like Elmer Fudd. He threatened some kind of legal action if I didn't call him back right away. The message was recorded and there was no caller ID. It's clearly some kind of fraud.

Some threat of legal action if we didn't return his call.

Same as reported left message saying that if I don't return call legal action against me will be taking.

8:49 am EST - call is from Columbus GA. Threatens offense? "action executed by the US Treasury", gives his name as Kevin Mason, ...your serious attention....ignoring leads to ..judge, court....I advise you to cooperate with us and help us to help you. " I let the recording run out, the same message was repeated three times in a row! The speech is English but the accent is not American.

Just as everyone described - Caller id's himself as being from US Treasury and his name is Kevin Mason/Frank.  If you call back and they answer, they go into the spill - You are in big trouble - you owe back taxes - warrant already issued for you.  The accent with the live person sounds Indian.  These people are very aggressive and want your money.  I have reported them to IRS, US Treasury and FTC.  This is the 3rd phone number they have used to call me.  First it was 561-958-8817 with just the recording threatening me with arrest and appearance before a judge or magistrate.  The second call 443-451-4467 had a live person after the recording, Steve Martin with the IRS.  He became very aggressive and threatening.  This last number 706-223-3623 has called twice today.

Everyone please report your calls,  To report calls, just go to IRS.gov and fill out form.  Do the same for US Treasury (treasury.gov) and Federal Trade Commission (ftc.gov).  At least I feel like I am hitting back when I make these complaints.

Yea!!!  I've always wanted to hear one of these calls.  They are scams pure and simple.  Report them if you want to but there is virtually nothing you can do about these messages but ignore them.

Just received 3 calls today....2 of them they didn't leave a message.  The 3rd one they left a message....something like it was urgent, and they would take action (the federal government ).  I just blocked them.
Do they think that we fell off of the turnip truck?

That is exactly what happened to me today, 3 call, ...2 they didn't leave a message, and the the last one they left the message that the Federal government will arrest me, blah, blah, blah.
The number that appeared on my called I.D. is 706-223-3623,

Same thing. From the U.S. treasury blah blah blah....he must think I'm stupid! Sheesh!  Calls me every day!

Thanks. Looked it up here. Got one like this and was checking as to legitimacy. Same guy: Kevin Mason. I could hardly understand the number, but someone else posted a number one digit off.
