Got a call from this number two days in a row. It shows up SSI but leaves no message. Any ideas?

Called twice today...got heavy breathing and then hung up.

keep getting calls fm this number 403-2595 but no one leaves msg if not home but if answer there is heavy breathing.

I keep getting the call waited for awhile called them back he said he was from State Patrol looking for a donation.  Be wary of this #.

I received a call from this number about 5pm today. The name above the number read SSI. This needs to be tracked down but the phone company usually says there is nothing they can do about bogus calls. Now that I see others have received calls and what is going on, someone must think they are funny but there is another name and I can't repeat it here.

I decided to call this number. I got a message. A woman said they are a type of polling service or where you are called and asked questions regarding various topics, mainly your opinion on who or whatever they are calling about. What I don't get is the heavy breathing or any other answer as to who they are but it does seem they are coming from Calhoun, Ga.. I hope this helps.

I got the same call today also and was worried because it did say from SSI. Isn't it illegal to pose as a Government official?

I got this call on Sunday  It show up as  SSI .I didn't answer  on my voice mail A women says is anybody there then a hang up .  Some one need to stop them .

I keep getting calls from this # and from 706-510-1860. Both show up as SSI.

Unwanted calls at 9:00pm & 9:20pm at night. Caller id shows SSI
They leave no msg & then called back like 1 hour later. This is harassment not to mention I'm sure there are laws about calling people after a certain hour at night. We are also signed up for the do not call registry. Please stop these people!

Block the phone number then called back this number recording says its some survey crap

My turn. Called at 7:05pm. Answered, but no response. SSI makes you wonder... Grovetown, GA

I answered this call only to hear "May I speak with the person in charge of your internet and phone?"  I said "No, you may not."

Called ID says SSI and woman speaking claimed to be a government employee who, as part of an investigation, was contacting people in our area to see if they had problems with having their mail stolen. She named several neighbors that supposedly had confirmed they had problems. Then she asked for me to confirm my full name and next ask me for "only the last 4 digits" of my Social Security number. I told the woman I didn't have my card with me and would have to find it. She said {expletive deleted} and hung up. Figures.

Very annoying- 3 calls today-ask the caller from 706-510-1860 & 706-403-2595 to stop these calls-cant the better business do something about this type calls?  

I am getting this same call, but from different numbers, and at least 3 or 4 times a day, I have answered it today, and yesterday, and both times it is nothing line just goes dead

Got a call at 5:20 and held on to hear a beep and then I hung up. Maybe a class action suit might make this kind of call stop.

I received a call from this number, didn't answer but found your comment.  The town you mentioned is in my local area, so I did some research.  Upon searching "SSI Grovetown, GA", my only result was for the Social Security Administration.  However their office is in Augusta, and they don't have one in this town.  The area has recently been prey to IRS scams, I myself am a victim of Identity theft, and this seems to be a part if the scam.
