- ShannonGot a call from this number 707-216-0582 claiming to be the IRS, wanting my SS #, and if I wouldn't give it to them I would be arrested withing 45 minutes. DO NOT GIVE THEM INFO AND REPORT THEM TO THE REAL IRS IMMEDIATELY!!!!

- Hem| 1 replyI get at least two calls from this number a day plus a bunch of other numbers. I am so sick and tired of all of these bogus calls. They call and hang up before I can get to the phone. I am handicapped, and it takes me time to get from one room to another, and by God it hurts trying to answer the phone. I know it is a shame to say this, however if I were put in a room with one of these individuals and I was given a gun, believe me they would not be able to walk out, and they would know how it feels to be handicapped, and try and walk or answer a phone. No messages just phone calls with no messages.
- Caller: No Name
- menGot a call from 707-216-0582. Said the same as everyone else. when I asked for some legit prof they told me to wait an hour and the cops will be at my door to arrest me for my proof.

- Bill| 1 replyI called back from a different line and they answered as the Investigations Department of the IRS. When I said that the number did not appear online anywhere as an IRS number, and I asked how they got my number and if they could provide any verification they hung up. Definitely NOT the IRS and definitely NOT how they would act posed that question. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANYTHING!!!
- K HI received an AUTOMATED message today from tis number. No request for any one person, just threats of jail time and charges by the IRS.
I reported it the the government imposters/IRS page.
I hope they rot in hell.- Caller: Pretending to be IRS
- KBThe real IRS will not call you or ask you for information. They already have your information. These people are just looking for ways to extort money and scam people. Also, the real IRS couldn't have police come and arrest you. They would send you a letter and not call.
- PipemajorI don't know what I enjoy more, these asinine phone calls or the Republican Party wanting to unite, but not with "him".
The phone call... Do you REALLY think a government agency would leave a threatening voice mail? From a "unknown caller". Granted we don't have the brightest bulbs in DC, but they do know the law. I think I'll take my tracking off my iPhone and call the number as an FBI fraud department agent and ask for badge #2165. Or that I'm vinnie and mr. Bigg don't like threatening phone calls from some turbin head. And ask, 'how's your family, have you talked to them lately?"- Caller: [***] from India.
- Call type: Prank
- JimA scam worse then the pretended
- Caller: Treasury IRS

- Texas GalGot a call from this number. A choppy recorded message was left of my voicemail claiming to be the US Treasury. Called back from a different number and the person answering claimed to be from the IRS. Told the person I had just gotten a call from that number and was now confused becaise the message claimed to be from the Treasury, while he (the person answering) said IRS and the two are completely different departments. He hung up on me.
- Caller: 707-216-0582
- K.G.Same as everyone else. When I asked who I was talking to her said officer John of the IRS. Nothing more, he just sat quietly and so I hung up.

- LolI got tired of their calls. So I called them back and I strung them along for 2 hours, giving them false information, asking them to hold on, acting like I going to the store to get the ITunes gift cards they wanted me to buy. Took a shower, cleaned the microwave, etc. After, I gave them the bogus iTunes gift card numbers, they thought they had duped me, he had something rude to say. I then broke it to him that everything I gave him was bogus, and called him a stupid [***]. The number is now disconnected and I've not received anymore calls.
