I answered in the middle of a recorded message threatening to take action as it was a second and final notice for federal tax money owed.  I would have to appear before a magistrate and left the phone number to call.  Ring, no answer then a fast busy.  Scammers who threaten people!  They need to new stopped!

Why do they bother calling , I know praying on peoples innocence . People have health issues and this communication can affect them  in a bad way.

I received a call just now on my answering service threatening to take action exactly as  'angry in Indiana' received.     Very updating and needs to be stopped.    No one answers as the number apparently doesn't exist.

A menacing message about having committed a federal crime by avoiding appearing before a magistrate in a matter involving taxes. No previous contact by IRS or any agency.

Shut down any answering device (if you can without risking possibly missing any emergency) or set it up so unknown callers are unable to leave you messages. You'll hear none of these bogus messages and the callers can't issue what's supposed to be ominous threats to a ringing phone.

Grr. I received a vmail on my landline with the same message as 'Sara' and I've gotten the same ringing/busy signal as 'Angry in Indiana'. They called around 928AM (EST) from a "Private/Unavailable" number. I hope this info helps someone.

Just got the same exact message as you. I ignored the first call, but this one sent me to Google..glad I found this info from you and others!!

I received a second threatening call from this number today. That sent me straight to Google. Very glad I found all these other reports! Thanks!!

Said I needed to call my final notice prison time

Received the same messages as above.

They have called 3 times so far saying they are from IRS a an arrest warrant has been issued (to whomever resides here)

I have  received about 6 phone calls and messages threatening to take action as it was a final notice for Federal Tax Money Owed. I have not retured these calls, instead I Googled the number and found the reports from this site. Scammers have to be stopped.

Caller leaving this message - of course I din't call back...     "Attempt to avoid initial appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jury for a federal criminal offense. This is the final attempt to reach you to resolve this issue immediately and to speak to a Federal agent call back number is 707-927-1362. I repeat 707-927-1362. Thank you."

Receive two calls in the past two days ... this number is a scam, for a company in Napa, CA called Intelappraise.  Claim you are potentially liable for a federal criminal offense.  Duh!

Not sure when I got this call. I don't answer my phone unless I know who it is but I found this site yesterday and started checking the numbers from CID.  Almost EVERY call I have received in the last few weeks has shown up on this site as a scam. After reading other people's story I checked my voice mail and heard this:

"Call to speak to federal agent immediate to resolve this issue at 707-9271362"

The first part was cut off so not sure if they threatened me or not, but even without this site I knew it was false "advertising" as this is not how our laws work. But should these people like to show up I will gladly introduce them to my good friend "243" his big brother "3006" and their little pudgy cousin "345 magnum"!

I have also decided that if I do answer a phone call it will be with "city morgue, you kill em we chill em"!

We received a call from the same number, it looks as if these scammers don't have anything better to do.  They need to try and find a real job, this call was about we were going to be arrested.  Last week the IRS was after us, but calling from another number, be aware there are a lot of different bogus numbers out there.  Be careful.

I have received calls from this so-called IRS agency on three occasions.  It is so annoying and upsetting.  I would like suggestions on what to do.  The numbers from which they call never the same!

Common on federal agents, catch these people and hang them.  They need to be stopped.  got the same call and wife, who is very ill, was very upset so she called me to come home.
