called with some bull about a contest winner for a Navigator
Caller Type: Unknown-Someone named Bill.

Called and said name was Bill and left msg regarding good news about winning a contest I entered a couple months back for a 2007 Lincoln Navigator.  When I called back 800 number, recording came on.  When I called phone number on call ID, (708)441-3679, it rang busy each time.
I believe this is a scam.  Don't fall for this Bull!

I know the same thing no one was on the phone..... just got my number so not sure if what this is...

Answered and no one on line.  Says Illinois number but nothing else.

Exactly like the others with a slick guy named Bill and a contest--annoying and obviously a scam, but for what?  How can we stop this?

I got this call too. When I answered "Bill" just kept talking.  When I tried to call back the 708 # I just got a FAX or Modem sound. ME -------> "Hello,... Hello.... Hello what's this about?" hung up "Stupid scams!"

Received same call from recording that I won contest for $25,000 and to call 866-430-3177. Didn't bother to call since I Googled both #'s and read it was some type of scam. Funny, the message didn't even leave a name on who won the prize!!!

Just received a call from this number 708-441-3679. The caller ID showed " Award, DPT " . Curious, I answered, which I usually do not answer calls I dont recognize & this is why lol. As soon as I answered, someone hung up on me. I called the number on the caller ID back and had to press a 1 before the number. After making the correction, I dialed again and got no answer, no ringing, nothing. "Your call did not go through, please try your call again later". I waited a few minutes and tried again. Same thing. I give up. Dont know who it was, but probably a telemarketer or some kind of scam. SMH-

These telemarketer/scam artist/baby killers have been calling, but never leaving a message.  The Caller ID said Award DPT, but nobody ever said what I won.  Idiots.

Just had the call for winning a car. I think we had the same call about a month ago. I did not try to call back. What do they get out of this?

This Bill guy keeps calling and leaving the same message about winning some kind of CONTEST... don't call back it's a SCAM!!!!!

I got this call yesterday. I hope the authorities nab these guys. Its a obvious scheme/scam.

Received this message on my cell phone. Regarding $25,000.   I never give out my cell phone number, and haven't entered a contest.
Guy said he was Gordan Sparks from the official notification group.  The call came from  708-441-3679
The message said to call toll free 866-933-6017.  This is a scam.  Probably fishing for ss numbers and personal information.  don't understand why they can't catch these guys.   Before falling for any of this, always make them identify the specific contest, and they should know your name.  Before you give them any info check out the specific contest, and even them it could be a scam
