This is the second day I have received a call from this number from a residential house in Illinois. The voice quality sounds like they are calling from the back side of the moon. Yesterday a man said he was calling about my computer. He hung up when I said I couldn't understand him. Today, I told the woman who called I couldn't understand her. She hung up. This is a nuisance call. Needs to be stopped.

Just got call from this number, no message left.....

Woman called me today.  Heavy Middle Eastern accent.  Something was wrong with my computer and she needed to access and remotely fix it.  Hung up and blocked caller.  How stupid do they think people are?

Based on everyone else, probably the same virus scam since they seem to call a lot.   Unfortunately, I didn't pick up to mess with them.

Got a call from this number today.  I didn't answer the phone.

I talked to them for a while to try to figure out what the scam was. They actually did have my correct name and my windows product id number, which was creepy. When I told them I was suspicious of them, the guy let out a string of curse words at me. I asked to talk to his boss, and he said he is the boss. I laughed and kept talking to him, and he kept cursing at me and told me he was going to hack into my computer and destroy it. I guess we'll see.

708-481-8690 is also an International Number.  If you call back, the chance exists you'll be charged for an International Call.

S C A M M E R -  Caller ID says Williams Chanie.  Indian accent.  When I told the man I couldn't understand him he spoke louder and clearer:  "Mam, I am calling from Michigan and I am with a very special department for your computer."   After I stopped laughing, I told him my computer doesn't have a special department!   Will block this caller.   Why don't you have "Scammer" in your Call Type drop down list??

I too did not answer. With rdg info here sounds like same creep with same computer crap just a different phone number. Must be a crazy, bored person or maybe this is a lucrative job. I never answer my phone until I look @ caller id.

got a call from this number answered hello 5 times, they hung up.  Had a call from them a month ago saying i had a problem with my pc.  Funny how I'd a IT Tech and didnt know of this "problem"  lol  Told them I am on the NDC list, to remove me from any calling list and to NOT call back and go eff themselves.

Called, left no message.  Checked and found to be scam number.  Blocked it.

Computer SCAM after they make you key in a few commands they say it has a virus and give you commands so they can get into your computer remotely after that they will either steal your information or put the encryption malware on your computer and demand money to release your information. Never give anyone information or key in commands they give you unless you called them. This is a SCAM to gain access to your computer. Product ID is generic to the OS you are running.

Got the same exact call from Chanie Williams.  Wow, how the heck can we get these calls to stop? Filing with the FTC.  Since we are all getting the same exact call from the same exact phone number.....

When getting a call from this #..answer with speaker mode & bring your phone next to your smoke alarm & give them a blast!!!

They even call us in Canada - I just laugh and ask them if they know what an IP tracer is and then ask if their mother would be proud to know they are a criminal.

Scam   call has to do with remote access to your computer then they high jack it and Want Extortion money to Remove the virus they install   Same old  Game has been going around for 20 years  just Different players  Numbers ARE Fake Spoofed  !  Don't Answer   Tell them to go to hell

Received call from this number. Let them talk for awhile to mess with them since I'm having a good day. They wanted me to run a program via the internet. VALIDATOR is what they wanted me to enter. After a few minutes, I told them I was just fu**ing around with them and started laughing. They hung up. I called back and the number was suddenly disconnected. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO!!!
