no message just said on my phone out of area. i never answere these calls

my business requires me to answer these calls during business hours. This is a recording about electric rates. I am on national DNC list.

DNC is a JOKE: a waste of money!

Caller claims to be from the "Voice Center" in Pittsburg. Odd, because the number that comes up on the caller ID shows that it is an area code on the south side of Chicago or its suburbs. The caller id shows "Client Department". The sales pitch is about selecting a power supplier as Illinois has been de-regulated. They ask for information off of your electric bill, which could be used for illegal purposes. VERY evasive about providing information like who they are, where they are from, etc. but polite. I did manage to get out of him that my number was on a list that they had PURCHASED from somewhere, where he would not tell me. Oh, and forget doing a complaint form with the FTC, all they do is re-direct you to the complaint form on the National Do Not Call website. Worthless [***]. You may have more luck going to the FCC's webite and filling out a form 1088b, and keep track of all the times you are pestered by these telemarketers and the id number that you are given after filling out the 1088b form for each offence,and still fill out the form on the DoNotCall website. Maybe someday we can sue these jagbags.

Robo Calling SCUM ....  ALL robo call devices are "voice-activated",  if you don't recognize number, answer with an extremely soft/weak (like you are sick/flu) voice.  If its a computer, it will not hear you and remain 'dead air' and not record a contact with the soliciting scum (eventually your number will be removed as a 'bad number")   ....... Of course if you are mistaken and its a friend, they will hear you and start a conversation ...

I did not answer the call. Too many pest calls. There was no message.

Robocall from Oak Lawn, Illinois.  Don't answer or call them back.  Report them.

Got a call today but they didn't leave a message. Sure its some kind of scam.

 Electric bill "discount\" Robo call. Caller ID shows the number instead of text. I pushed 5 and was going to be polite and wanted to actually ask some questions as well as if they are exempt from the national Do-Not-all list, but when I asked the company name she hung up. Calling the number back only has a option to push to be on THEIR do-not-call list. PLEASE Report ALL of these calls to the FCC: https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx? I quite agree with you.  I live in Chicago and called the number back, getting a recording telling me to Press 1 if I want to be put on their Do Not Call list.  I did so on 3-20-13 but was called again on 4-2-13!  How very frustrating!  I thought they were going after such scammers.

Called just now at 5:20 P.M.; didn't leave a message after I chose not to answer them.

Robot caller called for my husband from this number.  Said something about unusual charges on his xxxxxx credit card.  It said to inform him to call the number on the back of that card.

didn't answer robocall to phone number long on the ineffective do not call list. have gotten the electric billing robocalls here before, but from the last response here wonder if it's related to some medical billing craziness, since a physician involved uses united healthcare's multiple medical billing mode, even tho the patient's never been with united healthcare.

They keep calling me despite me requesting that my number be removed form their list.  The most recent call (15 April 2013) I pressed '5' to talk to a representative and when one came on, I asked her for the name of the company.  She replied "Live Voice".  I then asked where they are located and she hung up without saying another word.

Well. they called again. this is the 3rd time now that I was around to answer the phone, this time I got to talk to "Ellisha", same B.S. story, I asked why they keep calling me when I'm on the DNC list and have asked them before not to call, and she said that they can call whenever because the buy their robocall list so it makes it legal and they are not bound by the DNC listing rules, wouldn't even give me the option of being removed from the calling list. I have 3 Fcc 1088b complaints against these jerks and as many on the DNC, I am considering suing them and I think I will inquire about it and maybe start the process. I hate making work for lawyers but somebody has got to stick it to these jerks, being that the DNC, the FTC and the FCC don't seem to be inclined to want to do their jobs.....

The most recent call I have received came in from the number: 215-394-1991  The other details are the same though, I answer and am put on hold by a machine.  When I press "5" I can wait for a live operator and am then asked to give details about my electric utility bill.  My caller ID usually comes up as "Client Dept".

They have been calling every day, or every other day for a little over a month despite about ten requests to a live operator that they not call me any more.

This most recent time I waited to talk to a person and then asked what company they work for.  He said he works for a company called "Live Voice".  I then asked what State they are located in and he said, "New York".  I began to inform him that I was going to report his company to the Better Business Bureau for harassment and that's when he hung up on me.

I googled and found no company in New York or anywhere called "Live Voice", so I registered a complaint on the number with the "do not call" list, which I have been on for years.

I don't really expect anything to help at this point, but I'm so angry about the harassment and invasion of my privacy that I have to do something or I'll explode.
