This number calls more than two times a day. Sounds like a black man calling and every time we answer he says "Oh sorry wrong number." It shows up on caller ID as customer care but how do they know they have the wrong number when they never ask. When you call the number back all the recording says is "Thank you for calling, if you want to be placed on the Do Not Call List press 1 now." We have pressed 1 more than 10 times. Anyone know who this is?

Also this call comes in twice a day. Sometimes someone answers and says wrong number. Other times its dead air. What's going on? Getting very annoyed.

Stop calling annoying phones. If you are the owner of phone number 708-529-4739, I want to inform you that we have traced your information from the office of  Illinois attorney general. Soon you will find yourself in big trouble.

Get a whistle, answer, and BLOW as hard as you can!!!!!! Then pray they take the hint!!!

I am also receiving these calls. I'd be interested in knowing whether the Illinois Attorney General can do anything about this.

Getting a lot of calls and responses from a man saying he has the wrong number.

I just got a call from them and it was a recording saying it's about my ComED account.

This is a recording saying that I have been identified as a ComEd customer and my electric bill wll increase this month; and that by pressing 1, I'll be transfered to an operator that will help me save money.

do not answer this number - its a phone spammer- if you answer they can electronically swipe your information to use in a fraudulent manner. Google it.

I received a call from 708-529-4739 at 11:30am CDT today. When I picked up the phone and answered I got an automated female voice which stated that "The Illinois Attorney General's Office has determined that ComEd Customers who fall under certain categories are eligible for a refund." Then said to press option #1 or #2 on your keypad according to which category you fall into. When I didn't pressed a number I was disconnected electronically.

I just got a call  too on my cell, I called it back from a landline and it says "Hello, please press 1 if you would like to be placed on a do not called list"  I stayed on the line and it just keeps repeating same message!  what a way to waste peoples time!

Great idea, but most times there is no one on the other end.  Call your local phone company, they are selling blocks of phone numbers.  Do not answer unknown calls, if its important they will leave a message.  I add the phone number to my address book, and then turn off the ringer.

Never press any other the numbers, ignore the phone call

I received a call from 708-529-4739 at 4:00 p.m. CDT today.  It was a robo-call advising me I could save on my electric bill - just press "5" now to be connected to one of our friendly representatives.  I think they called me two weeks ago (yes, I filed a complaint with the FCC that time, too).

consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Uhm, the phone company wouldn't be selling your number.  That's the Do (Not) Call list that provides a list of numbers to telemarketers letting them know who to (not) call.

I have received two calls today from this number.  One was about my electricity bill and I did not answer the second call.  I too want the Iliinois Attorney General to put a stop to these trolls, but I think that they will only change their number and begin again.  Believe this or not but I've just received a THIRD call from these moles.
