Payday loan collection scam.claims to be a collection agency. Tries to pressure you to pay them or they will garnish wages. I asked for documentation and they sent a letter with a different company name then theirs with no info except saying I owed money. I called my attorney who advised me it's a scam. No one calls and tells you beforehand that you are being served or asks for money to stop the serving process. Company is a fraud. The real Asset Financial deals with real estate.

Received a call from 708-689-4625 on 11/04/2014 at 3:38 PM, CNAM read as "Asset Financial." Per Lucy's comments above, possibly a scam debt collector as I have absolutely no debt and in the past, I never defaulted on any loan.

Same message as above. Ms. Griffen is the collector. You would think it's viable because the collector speaks english.

Got a call from a Cali James telling me they were filing complaints against me in my county for ACH fraud and theft by deception and was going to be arrested.  I asked for any sort of proof of this alleged debt and they sent me via email a single page letter that was obviously created on Microsoft Word and filled in some #s.  It had zero authenticity.  I asked for information on their documentation of the date of the transaction, how they verified my information, how they pinged the IP address, etc.  She told me they had to legal right to do so but that they verified it all and that was that.  When I began to get nervous about the whole filing with the county thing I started to get loud and she shot back with 'don't treat my like your kid' or something similar.  Essentially the whole call was completely unprofessional and she never stopped talking over me.  Just read right down the script.  Kept saying 'how are you going to settle this today?' over and over even when I tried to ask a question.  Such a waste of time from people.  Use your life for good.

I have been getting calls from this number demanding payment, if not they will garnish wages and send it to through the legal channels. How I can I stop these people from calling.. Am getting fed up with them calling and harassing me..

Received a call from an unknown number. A message was left. She identified herself as "Investigator" Geo Allen. She gave her "badge number" as 67371 and said that she had a criminal complaint in her office against me and she proceeded to give me "the warrant application number". She then said it was extremely imperative that I return her call today and proceeded to give me her direct number of 708-689-4627 and then said I was fully informed and advised.
When I returned her call I did not identify myself but proceeded to give her my supposed "warrant application number". She then became very hostile and vulgar making remarks about my mother and my [***] size. I hung up and then I got a call from her number. This time my caller ID showed it to be Asset Financial. She continued to harass me with comments about my mother and, once again, about my [***] size. She even indicated that she was going to file a complaint with the state and then proceeded to give me my profession's license number and said that she was also going to contact the organization who issues my profession's license and file a complaint with them as well. This time I hung up and blocked her number.
For her to have my license number did concern me, but with today's internet, doing a search on an individual and obtaining their profession's license number would be fairly easy.
I strongly believe this is a debt collector scam and a "terror tactic" into scaring me in providing my personal information so they can collect money for a previous debt. I spoke to a local law enforcement and they told me just to ignore the calls; if this "criminal complaint" was official, I should have received some kind of documentation through the mail instead of  receiving a threatening call.

You can keep calling scammer.  I will never call you back.  My information was stolen about 7 years ago and these low life's keep selling my information over and over again trying to scam me out of money.  They have yet to get 1 cent out of me so you think they would stop wasting their time.  But no such luck, lol.  So funny how they all say they will serve you with papers but I have yet to be served in 7 years.  Please serve me so I can turn you over to the attorney general for illegal collection practices.
