interesting, claimed to be Pete Wells (Welsh?) for KNEW (CA radio station), selling an ad for breast cancer awareness/screening. $199 for two days.

This guy called me and said our company owes them $199 for a radio ad that was ran in Tucson Arizona on KTME. I'm not even sure if this station exists. Pete Welsh. This isn't the first time I denied paying his rediculous invoices for nothing. This happened last year also.

He left a voice mail for me yesterday that sounded suspicious, mostly because he identified himself as Pete Welsh, but didn't state his reason for calling.  I decided not to return the phone call, since it seemed odd. He just called me again a few minutes ago, this time not leaving any voice mail.

Pete Welsh called our office today. I found him to be professional, courteous and extremely helpful. We bought a message from him. Happy to work with someone that is refreshing.

Will buy from him again. Thanks.

I find it fascinating. We have been a client of Pete's for years. No problems. He still makes 200 contacts per day. He still sells a lot of business. He does not even look at what people post anonymously online. He does not collect the money. His company does. He still makes 6 figures a year. So, what does all this whining and silliness on these posts accomplish? Pete is still working and doing quite well. Would your boss like the fact that you are spending all your time with these postings?

Shouldn't you get back to work. Pete ain't going away. He makes 1 or 2 calls to a potential client. Then that's it. Everyone has to get over it. Life is too short.

The guy was rude and ignorant...LESS THAN PROFESSIONAL

We told him no thank you to advertising 4 times since December and he called me again today!  Look for new contacts!

Just got a cell phone call from this number, which I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. He left a message as Pete Welsh. He's trolling for some sort of business. I resent unwanted calls to my cell number, and I have blocked it.

Left me a message asking about info on old employer said he needed info??? I called back got recording from Peter Welsh?? Wells??  I am in Tucson area..scam???

This guy leaves pre recorded voicemails over and over, and then when you call back he will not give you addtional information on who he is or why he is calling.  He is calling our legal office and we absolutely will not put him through as he does not answer our questions and is very rude and hung up on me.  I think it is strange to see he has good reviews with personal information attached to them like he is going to this website posting about himself.  We have had our phone person block him from all our offices.

Pete called my company and was being extremely rude. He hung up on me after i just wanted to ask a basic questions like what this is regarding, etc etc. told me "i'll just take my business elsewhere". PLEASE DO! next time he calls, he will be getting the same rude answer back "thanks but no thanks, please take your business elsewhere"

Whenever I get a call that feels "suspicious" I google the number and when I see reviews like this it saves me from wasting my time calling back.

Same report as many others. Rude, won't leave a meaningful message and hangs up when asked any questions.

Don't know how he got my number and don't care. When someone calls and doesn't leave even the slightest of intent in their message, it screams of "cheap salesguy" and insincerity. His number has been blocked. This tactic I believe works well on "easy" targets. But for someone in a buying-position (like myself) this sort of tactic is unsavory and unwanted. I'm sure there are many "targets" for this guy out there.
