713-234-5201 keeps calling, everyday, and rings 2-3 times and hangs up. Who are these people and why do they keep bothering me. I don't asnwer calls from unknowns. The only I.D. on this is Avalon.

I am getting calls as well.  The caller ID has this number as being in Sugar Land, TX.

This is a company out of the Houston area (THe Malatoloken Group) selling health insurance. Unfortunately, they are exempt from the DNC list in Texas, becaused they are licensed in Texas. However, their robo calls and dead air and hang ups are illegal.

Report these people to the State Board of insurance and the Texas Attorney General. Maybe a large fine will get their attention

Hello, I was wondering if there was anyway to get these people to stop calling ? They do it alot , & never say anything . I found out that they are an insurance company, we don't want any . It seems pointless if you have your number on a DO NOT CALL list if companies can still PESTOR people because of some loophole. I eighter have to let the phone ring & ring Or answer it for no one to say anything , I would like to ask or tell them to quit calling , but I never know if anyone is there or not . Can something PLEASE be done about this ?

I get home and this 713-234-5201 has called at least 4 times a day. I was off Monday and they called 4 times. Caller is AVALON

they call at all hours.  i don't want these calls. They are trying to sell insurance.

I made the mistake of making an online request about health ins. and have been bombarded by calls from a variety of parties--this # is the last one to give up, and they dont leave a msg as the legitimate companies did.

yup, getting called and dead air. Reporting them to the FCC.

What does PESTOR mean?

I get a call from this company every day, several times a day and cannot get them to stop calling. I have no need for health insurance and am listed on the do not call list but it does no good. They do not even leave a message so there is no way to talk to anyone to stop this. Any suggestions?

My son and I did the same thing about 4 years ago, to possibly get med coverage for him after ge was laid off from his job.  The phone calls started immediately.  My son committed suicide in 2009,  Guess what???
The calls still come in.  Had 2  from this number today.  LOW LIFE

I just called them back and Cindy confirmed my number and placed me in their company DNC list internally.  She was very nice about it, now lets see if the calls actually stop.

I just received a call from Avalon.. Never have received it before but now I will not answer after reading everyone elses comments.

2-3 calls a day, no message. I'll try what "kevec" did & see if they stop.

I like some others requested a quote for health insurance and they have been harassing me ever since. They leave no message, they call 4-5 times a week. I just called them and asked to be taken off of their call list and of course, I had to leave a message. We'll see. These types never get the hint. If not, I will call them 3-4 times daily and hang up see how they like it.

Companies are exempt from the Texas "No Call" list ONLY if you have done business with them in the past.  

If the call was not solicited by you, they SHOULD NOT call.

As mentioned in a previous post I returned today's call from Avalon (selling insurance coverage) and politely asked a very polite person there to remove me from their calling list. If this does not work I will post again.

We need to get a few hundred people to call them 3 times a day at the same time then hang up.
I don't know a way to pull this off.
Any ideas?
